this does a great job as an RO unit, that it the important part. I'm not sure if my sink valve were wierd or what, but the adapters didn't fit them so had to go to a hardware store and get an adapter. not a big deal as long as you're handy enough figure it out. the taste was definitely a crisp and clean taste like dasani or something. personally i like a bit of mineral flavor in my water so I added a Frizzlife TAM3 under sink inline water filter-alkaline ph+ remineralization filter. search it here on amazon and you'll find it. the fittings for it are the same as this so its super easy to just splice into the line to the faucet.overall I would recommend this to others

Real nice small unit for the amount of available filtered water per day. I don't think I get even close to 600gpd even if I used this for all ingestible things in my kitchen. I did have a small issue with connections but my house is old and some of the fittings are already weird. Quick trip to the hardware store and solved.I am very happy with the quality but anything is a huge step up from my basic house filter well water. Maybe some day ill even upgrade to a water softener but that involves way more money then I currently have. This and others like it are within the budget and work wonders. I just hope I can find replacement filters rather then having to get a whole new unit in the future.

Love this product. Great flow with no tank. Lowest waste water of any system Iooked at (1 gal waste for every two gal of pure water). User changeable filters. This is an awesome device. That said, I dropped the rating to one star because replacement Stage 1 filters are simply not available anywhere. Nu Aqua's website is difficult to use and confusing enough to cause users to buy the wrong filters. For example, you have to buy filters for the "platinum efficiency series" even though "efficiency" is not included anywhere in the documentation. But wait, it's only required for purchasing stage1 and Stage 2 filters, but not included on the Stage 3 filter. Also, site tries to sell you one year packages of replacement filters, but wait, none of those "platinum series" replacements actually fit this "platinum series" product. Great product with very poor web site and poor availability of replacement filters.

This is one of the smallest 600GPD tankless RO systems I've seen. We've installed a few of these at our other condos like the Waterdrop or the Frizzlife. Although many of them come in 500 and 600 GPD and most have 2:1 filtration ratios, most of them have larger foot prints and take more space compared to this NU system.Installation was very simple and straight forward and took us about 45min (we have had installed RO systems before 3 or 4 of them). Some fittings didn't work but we knew this and Home Depot is within walking distance of the condo.Faucet is smart and gives you info on the filter but doesn't provide info on the quality of water like most other newer models. The pump that feeds it is amazing as it can improve the pressure specially if you are using this RO system to feed your refrigerators water dispenser too. Sometimes these tankless RO systems can feed the fridge because of low pressure.By the time I got this RO system 4 months ago, the filters were not available on the NU's website but they added them and now it's easy to order the filters you need.The three layers of filtration includes the carbon block, the GAC and the actual RO membrane. The first one needs to be replaced every 3-6 months, the 2nd one once a year and the 3rd one once every year. Out first filter is still working smoothly after 4 months now.Some other RO systems added a demineralizing stage to add taste to the water. We had one Frizzlife like that which did a great job with adding enough minerals to improve the taste drastically.Overall, it is very straight forward and works as it should. No hiccups during the past couple of months. Small size, high 600 GPD, good faucet and the small pressure pump all together in a decent priced RO system that doesn't take much space. The brand is not that well known like others but the system works flawlessly.
