## Description

Transform your caterpillar into a beautiful butterfly! In this new game of counting, collecting, and building, children move colorful, 3D sculpted caterpillars from fruit to fruit, collecting a unique butterfly puzzle piece each time they stop to "eat." The first player to collect all five puzzle pieces and build a beautiful butterfly wins the game! Children practice decision-making by moving any direction on the board. They mix and match beautiful butterfly illustrations to create a different work of art every game. No reading required.

Review: Great book for 2-4 year old - Purchased for 4-yr old grandson and he enjoyed the game. His 2- yr old brother also enjoyed it
Review: Cute, fun, enjoyable & quick game - Our family (3 kids ages 8, 6 & 4) love this game! It is easy to learn, fun, competitive in a nice way and doesn't take hours to complete. Our 4yr old was gifted the game & the whole family was able to sit down & play right away (sharing one of the caterpillars as we had 5 people, but it only has 4 caterpillar pieces). While the 4yr old definitely enjoyed playing, I felt our 6yr old seemed to enjoy it the most. The butterfly pieces are straight from Eric Carle's artwork and the little caterpillar game pieces are cute. Everything stores nicely in the box. However you may want to use a sandwich bag for the pieces once you've opened the game so as not to lose any. We enjoyed this so much we gifted it to another 4yr old for her birthday.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Super cute!
*by D***E on August 12, 2020*

It's a great games for little ones, and well worth the price! My 4 year old loves The Hungry Caterpillar app on his tablet. The game is beautifully illustrated. It is really simple. Intellectually, maybe to simple. My son has issues with paying attention and taking turns, so that works for us. The biggest plus with the game is that the butterflies are legit, well-made puzzle pieces. After a few rounds, my son was over it. I had the idea of putting away the board and caterpillar pieces. I just left out the butterfly pieces, but scattered them over our coffee table. My son had a blast matching the properly colored pieces together. The game may be simplistic, but you get 4 5-piece puzzles in it. Totally worth it!
