Trail FX 20000 Truck Boot

The boot is made of a thick clear PVC material making it very durable. It fills in the gap between the cab and my cap perfectly. My only problem with this boot is the fact that it pops and makes to much noise when the cab and and bed twist and move in different directions at different times. The PVC does not move with it. Why did we go to this new style? Why cant we have what I grow up with that covered the windows with a thin piece of metal and tarp like material that wood move when the truck flexed?

It did keep the rain and wind out of the cab with the rear window and topper window open, I would have given 5 stars if it did not make lots squeaking noises when I hit bumps or turn corners, so it makes noise when on rough roads and when turning but helps with wind noise on the highway.

Need to be able to slide both windows open on my truck and canopy and this is a key part to making that work without elements getting in. It’s been on for 2 months in rain and mega heat and haven’t had to re inflate it yet. Happy with it! However, it’s not as easily see through as I hoped. Guess I am learning to use my mirrors more. The seams are bulky and distort your view.

The seem split out in one week ordered another see if it does any better. It works great for what I want as long as doesn’t split at seem again.

It works good but when the weather gets cold the pressure in it drops and it starts to squeak.

Sure it does blow up and stay in, but my 2014 Tacoma with leer cap and just over an inch of space, makes it impossible not to have a wrinkle on both sides. It said it did not fit my Tacoma but it worked for 2 others on their Tacoma so I went with it. Sure it's worth having due to the ease of use. I wanting both rear windows open while camping and it does seal out most all water.
