Q: Pedal works backwards? The sustain petal it came with seems to keep echo when released, but echo off when pressed.....

There’s a switch on the pedal itself the reverses the polarity. You’ll find it on the base of the pedal by the side. Flick it one way or the other to reverse the sustain function

Q: Does this keyboard have a better sound than Alesia Recital Pro?

I just got the Donner Dep-20 and it sounds pretty poor.

Q: Does this have Bluetooth to connect to headphones so you can play without disturbing others?

It does not have Bluetooth, but there are two wired headphone ports.
