Mitani Classic Chicken Salt 200g

Good season salt from down under. It is blends of sea salt, paprika, onion and garlic powders. It has "secret" herbs and spices with some rice flour. I suspect that some of the herbs contain msg as the site claims "no added MSG". Not that it is free of MSG. It taste great! tried is on fries, chicken and some Mexican. So far seems to be a really good spice mixture to use when you would normally use onion salt and or garlic salt.

I had no idea what to expect but this ends up being very good. I tried it on many things from fries to popcorn to chicken to eggs and it's worked well with each. It will remain a table top staple.

This product is fantastic; it perfectly matched my expectations! It's incredibly popular, especially outside of the United States. I've found it to be an excellent seasoning for a wide variety of foods, from fries and rice to countless other dishes. While I'm very happy with the product itself, the only minor issue was that the packaging wasn't sealed properly, and some of the seasoning had spilled inside. Just a friendly reminder, since the name contains the word "salt," it is naturally quite salty.

Why haven’t I been using Chicken Salt for all these years?

It has a high sodium content and is pretty much a multi use seasoning. This was too salty for my family to use.

I heard about this seasoning on an Australian channel on YouTube and had to try it. It does not disappoint, it makes fries taste amazing, and from what I can tell, it would be good on onion rings, chicken, and other fried or battered foods as well. Absolutely delicious and a great substitute for salt as it adds so much more flavor. This is one of those seasonings that I want to take with me to restaurants so I don't miss having it when eating out. 5 stars all the way!
