The Geese Police Paperback – November 13, 2015

This is a great little book that has a great storyline around teamwork and resolving differences. My kids find animals relatable, so the animal characters are perfect and the photos add to the connection. I happen to know the author, Julie, and this book is about her actual farm full of animals she loves. In fact, she shares the eggs from the chickens in the story with some of her friends, myself included. Julie's commitment to rescuing animals and sharing her love of animals is admirable in it's own right, and the fact that she is talented enough to be both a farmer and a story-teller is impressive! I love the opportunity to support her efforts, and this book is my go-to gift book for the kids in my life!

My six year old daughter and I really enjoyed reading this book (I did most of the reading). The characters were fun and she really enjoyed the photos of the animals with the story. The photos really reflect the beauty of life on the farm and the interaction of farm animals. This book makes a great gift. In terms of reading level, I would say this book is 2nd grade and up if the child is doing the reading. The story is appropriate for 6 yrs old and older (due to the length of the story).

I really love this book.I think it was a great purchase. It was great how it had the real pictures of the actual farm in it.The book is about Julie's farm and how the Geese Police and Gandolf save a chicken called Penny from two roosters and wild animals.I think it is a book age 4 +(but can be read to any age) and great for bedtime reading!written by Edward Kay age 9

My granddaughter enjoys reading a chapter every night with me. Such a cute story.

A sweet story about a community coming together to help someone in their time of need - in this case, a little hen! Great photos to help you connect with the characters. There are some good life lessons for both young and old. It was enjoyed by the parents and the kids in our family. All in all, a great read!

This book is SO CUTE! It tells a sweet story of barnyard friends & has awesome photos of the animals in the story! A great book for kids or adults. A quick, easy read too. It's a very nicely written book!

What we thought would be a nice bedtime book for all the little ones in the family, quickly became a thoughtful read for the adults as well. Beautifully photographed by the author herself, this is an ageless tale of inclusiveness.

I thought the book was really good. I enjoyed it a lot because I know the person who wrote it. I thought it was really funny and suspenseful I also liked the title a lot.
