Works as it should... 40 mm objective lens on Vintage Marlin 30-30 Lever gun was a good fit.
DNZ Game Reaper scope mount for Marlin 336 SC works exactly at it should... I mounted a Vortex Crossfire II 3-9x40 witth V-Brite reticle... Without needing to remove the bent metal {cheaper style} sights that were factory installed on barrel in 1961.... With Remington 30-30 150 grain core locked bullets ... 1" three shot group at 100 yards... This hunting season... From a seated position with rifle fore-end rested of fixed object.. I dropped a Missouri Whitetail doe deer at 325 yards.... She fell where she was grazing. No blood trailing necessary. Everythiing, including this DNZ mount, worked as it should. I can recommend DNZ scope mounts "for round tube optics"............ Game Reaper Mounts May not be a good fit for Night scopes...which do not have round tubes...

quality product,fits rifle perfectly and looks good. Went with the high mount and a 2-7 power by 35mm vortex diamondback. Setup works very well on my 1964 336 marlin R.C. Still a bit of clearance between rear sight and scope bell , about l/8 inch. Easy to screw onto rifle with supplied cap screws and allen wrench.

Great, solid scope mount!
Perfect fit for my Marlin lever action rifle. Sturdy and secure for hunting in the woods. It only took three shots to zero in the Bushnell scope I put on it. Highly recommend!
