Not bad for a first book on pocket Watch repairs
I fall between the first two reviewers, Yes it is irritating to have the same information about say cleaning a dial or cleaning some common parts but it is also a mine of information for people like me who are just starting out on pocket watch collecting and repairs. It does not cover major points such as where and how to apply the correct oils but that is what Google is for! What it does do is give one the insight into the tasks necessary to get started and if you do not pay too much for the book it is good value.

Excellent book
Good book for the budding watch repairer. Has helped me to get an old pocket watch back into action which is why I bought it. The bulk of the book is too technical for the amateur but a good resource for a someone with more than a rudimentary skill in watch repairs.

Really informative book
Very informative book, Only problem I have is things are explained as if you already have experience ( which I have’t ) I needed to look at another book to find out what the item he was talking about. Looked like. I think once I gain a little more experience it will be a very valuable piece of kit.
