TT-501 Chromatic Tuner

I've had intelli-touch tuners, snarks, and the this. The Tune Tech tuners are the best. They don't break where the clip attaches to the tuner like the snarks ALWAYS do. The Tune Techs are accurate, they light up so you can see them in the dark on stage or at night at a campfire jam, and it's easy to find replacement batteries for them. This is the best tuner for under $20.

nice unit. I bought it for a friend to use. It works on all three of my instruments. Banjo, fiddle, guitar.

Very simple to use and works great. It's great for tuning and checking chords. I use it for my banjo and it does the job for the price.

Very poor quality. Unfortunately, my daughter didn't start violin lessons until the following month (past the 30 day return policy) and it does not work. The instructor tried it and it does not tune the violin correctly. This item was very expensive too.Shame on Amazon for selling poor quality merchandise.

I love this tuner. It's easy to use, accurate, sturdy, and the price is good. I use this to tune my banjo.

One of the very best "clip on" tuners I have found. Easily catches the lower tones - sometimes a problem with other tuners. I bought two of these, I was so impressed with the first one I had been given as a gift. I have used these on acoustic and electric guitars, mandolins and banjos and even clipped to the bell of my trumpet. Excellent size and performance. DECIDEDLY worth the price. You can easily set it to automatically detect your tones, or manually select your tuning note - an excellent feature considering its sensitivity. Finally, you can adjust the central tuning to A=440 or adjust the central tuning up or down from that reference pitch. Again, most useful.

I have an earlier version of this tuner, which I really liked. The newer version has a special mark that shows when a string is perfectly in tune. But now I have encountered a problem -- while it still registers the pitch fine, the name of the pitch has changed, from my mandolin's GDAE to a whole step higher, namely ADBF. This is not a bad problem for me, but for less experienced musicians it could present a major problem! I wonder how to contact the company to figure out if I can reprogram it or if they have a solution to the problem.

great value. really small and easy to use. look carefully for the battery in packaging as I missed it and went out and bought one.
