More Than 50 Most Loved Hymns

My dad asked for a CD of traditional hymns for Father’s Day. He wanted a CD so he could listen to them when he was out running errands. My dad told me that this CD was wonderful and it took him back to his childhood days of going to church. If you’re looking for a CD of traditional hymns this would be a prefect gift yourself or someone special.

Best collection out there of old hymns sung by choirs, this is hands down my favorite cd, excellent choirs with a little bit of variety in instrumentation and arrangement, it's just the best in my humble opinion!

The CD case these arrived in was broken and cracked, the discs themselves were unharmed and played without an issue. Great sound and good to listen to.

The song selections are excellent. The choirs sounded clear and crisp.

This CD is played frequently- The arrangements are innovative and entrancing. The voices of the highest quality. It is well worth the price.

Music is a praise from our hearts and these oldies has been favorites for so long for very good reasons.

These CD's will touch your heart in a way that will be profound and lasting. May I suggest that you sit back in your easy chair, shut the ringer off the phone, turn off the tv, crank up the volume on your stereo and be prepared to be swept away by it's beauty?This music will give you goosebumps. This music will make you feel that you are literally in God's presence, before his gifted angelic choir, listening to the most beautiful sounds you have ever heard.There isn't enough space in this forum to totally express the way I feel about how this music has touched my life. If you never buy another CD, you should give this one a try. I loved it so much, that I am buying some for the most treasured people in my life...knowing that their hearts will be soothed, every time they play it. What a way to start or end a day, than by listening to these 'More Than 50 Most Loved Hymns.'

The product was great and how I expected it. The double CD case was cracked however, and I would like to know how to get another case for the CD. Thanks

This is just the best album of beautiful hymns. I never tire of it.

I bought this for my dad with alzheimers, but ended up giving it to my mum as she was always in a choir, and these hymns are sung by a choir. She would appreciate the style more. Don’t worry,I’m getting dad a different one ☺️

i liked this cd very much , it has a lot of beautiful hymns with quite a lot of these hymns that i have heard before but there are some that i have not heard before.

I am soon to join an Anglican Choir and am a bit rusty when it comes to Hymns; so these great recordings are an excellent way to catch up! I agree with some previous reviewers that certain selections are a bit short -- my favourite hymn ALL CREATURES OF OUR GOD AND KING is just over a minute long! -- but since these 2 CDs suit my purpose, why complain? We even enjoy listening to these at home over dinner -- and that's on week days! If you really like traditional hymns, this 2 CD set is perfect for you!

I would have given this one a full five stars, but for the very limited liner notes.I would have liked to know more about the choir(s, musicians, etc.A couple of hymns might be of American tastes, familiar words, but "new" tunes to me.Overall, one of the best compilations that I've ever heard. It has an honoured placein my collection.BTW, that's not a typo, it's how we spell "hounoured" in Canada. :)
