Good quality, good taste, sticky texture
If you like your rice glutinous, this rice is for you. If you prefer grains to be separate and not stick together much, you won't be happy. In any case, it's high quality and good-tasting. This is by far my favorite brand of microwave rice, blows Uncle Ben's out of the water (yes I know they changed the name, but I'll call it Uncle Ben's until the day I die).

I love this rice so much. It has a fluffier texture, and slightly sticky. It steams up very well, but do make sure to squish it up thoroughly, cuz you will get chunks and the rest of the rice will want to stick to that. No real biggie, though. I like putting my seasonings and chopped meat into the pouch, and mixing it all up after its cooled. The pouch is pretty tall to allow for that. So that's a bonus for me, no need for bowls or plates. I'm sure that's not it's intended purpose, but that's how I'm using it.

I was taken aback after heating one packet. This came as a STICKY RICE. All JASMINE rice should have a loose finish wether being cooked on a stove top or Microwave. STICKY RICE is made for Sushi or used a lot in a bowl by those Japanese fast food.Just disappointed with this product brand. 7/31/23.
