Worked great on my shower install with no leaks

I needed drop ears since I was relocating the water supply for my bathroom sink from the floor to the wall. I normally solder all my plumbing but I wanted three tab drop ears and the only way I could find them is with push fit connections. I have used the brand name ones in the past and these seem to be just as good quality. Excellent machining and construction. The copper pipe pushed into the connection well and the fitting grips the pipe very strong. A removal tool was included. It did work to remove the drop ear from the copper pipe I connected to it when I tested that feature. Plus, I got 4 of these for less than the price of two brand name ones at the big box store.

These fittings are a good quality and work very well. They are much lower in price than the most popular and well known brand. They do have a smaller range of fitting types but do have the most common ones you are likely to need.

these may life so much easier when your not a certified plumber. I was able to swap out my shower pieces with no problem at all!

Cheaper then name brand

Used this to replace a similar setup. PEX pipe fits easily and comes off easily if needed. String seal and no leaks.

My main concern was a question of quality vs the name brand and secondarily the ability to remove the connectors vs. the name brand. Name brand plumbing fixtures, adapters etc. can be quite costly and sometimes a luxury for a home repair and hobby repair person, however vs. soldering and keeping the pipe dry so you get a good joint can be troublesome. While I do both (solder and slip grip fit) it is much easier especially in hard to get to small space area's I will go with the slip fit and have had (fingers crossed) good luck with these as permanent repairs, you clean the pipe slip these on and you are done. This is an excellent purchase to have in you plumbing tool box because you never know when you may need one and so the price, the kit and the container (which is very nice) this is a good set and works well. The negative for me is removal and I have trouble with both the name brand and this one when I tried to remove it, so get it right the first time and call it a day. This set of elbow's also has screw mounts and so for new or retrofit has the additional advantage of being able to fix the connection to wood framing

I ordered a few different fittings to see how they were. I use quite a few push to connect fittings as a remodeling contractor but like everything else at lowes the prices are just getting ridiculous. I was very impressed with the quality of these fittings, every good as the name brand ones I usually get. The machining on the threads is actually better. Fit perfectly and no leaksI already started ordering more of these, definitely switching to these.Highly recommend, great deal
