EarlyGrow Medium Seed and Herb Domed Propagator with Vented Side Height Extension and Security Clip Set,Green

This is the first time I am cloning and I also thought I should buy the clips for security. But as I have learned from best cloning practices, you have to get into the dome to wipe humidity at least twice daily and moreso as the rooting continues for maintenance and upkeep. The clips are not necessary. The dome system is solidly built. It retains a steady 78F with a heat mat, 90-99% Humidity is maintained as well. I am glad I bought this brand. I wont consider anything else (sorry Vivosun). Get any of the domes from EarlyGrow. Well designed.

There a great product. Definitely plan on making a small cut to allow fan and heat mat prob to be put in. Buy good paper clips and by pass the black plastic clips. FYI , are cat love to pull them off and are little monster dog loves to chew them up. They come off quite easily! Plan on getting the extra risers with when you purchase it. If not you pay an abandonment fee for the extra ones later on like I did. The extra are two each raising the height to accommodate tall plants as they grow. Personally I order a second one and will utilize on heat mat turn to the side to fit two. For my use I only need on extra riser set. I had light prior, if due not have any order the bundle deal! It will save you time and money later on. They are leak proof , easy to clean , pretty standard sturdy . It look nice not flashy, wish came with an internal riser to bottom water. I recommend to get the larger size vs the smaller one that I have. Why I orders second smaller one. They will only fit the size of a solo cup of 6 . I utilize solo cups and take the out to make ready for out doors, but duck taping a clear solo cup on top with a circular cut on top to allow air and ventilation.

Well built, sturdy and will last for years (unless you drop it as it will shatter). Nice ventilation options, wish the bottom had a small cutout for my heating pad temp. probe wire but one can either run it through the side vent or make a small notch at the junction point. However, I don't see the point for included clips, they are completely useless as there is no lip and the clips just fall off when you just look at them wrong. I drilled holes and secured sections/lids with small carabiners instead and tossed those clips in the trash. So, don't pay extra to get the clips.

This is the first time I'm using a domed propagator. I have Parlor Palm Seedlings planted, which take a couple of months to germinate. It closes well, although if you have a thermostat to insert (like I do), to keep track of the temperature, it won't close properly. But that's not the propagator's fault. It's very lightweight, and the stability is good. The price is right, and not hard to put together. I haven't used the heightener or clips yet. Doesn't look like there's any parts missing. So far so good. I do recommend.

I have used this product to keep my newly propagated lemon seedlings and African Daisy seedlings. It has worked very well in providing a humid environment to promote new growth. I will probably get another one since it works so well. My African Daisies were ready to transplant into a slightly larger pot after about 1 month. The root systems were robust.

This thing is awesome! I needed a humidity dome that was tall enough for my cuttings. I am “hopefully” propoating my late grandmother’s 50 year old hydrangea bushes before her house gets torn down. The cuttings need to be 4-6” tall and almost every humidity dome was too short to fit the cuttings. I bought this one with one extender and it now measures 10.5” tall. It should hold 40 cuttings in the 1.5” planting trays I bought, which gives me 40 tries in hopes some of them root and live! Fingers crossed!

Very very tight rooting medium on like others that are not tight so cuttings stay moist. The only thing I don't like is the lack of instructions for making the dome bigger. Ended up having to do smaller cuttings and throwing the other pieces away. They need better instructions detailed how to make dome bigger for bigger cuttings especially for people do not have allot of patience.

I love it, the cover can't slip because it have a small lip to prevent that and cause of that lip the water stay inside!!! No more water dripping on the shelf and on the heat mat!! LOVE IT will buy again. I RECOMMEND

I purchased this case thinking it was the same as the one I received last week, but without the extensions. At just under $50. before tax, I felt it was a reasonable price. I did check the measurements briefly but there are 2 in the description that don't match. The foot print is actually 8 1/2" x 13 1/2 inches. When you allow for leaf span, I'd be lucky to get 8 cuttings in it. Plus then you've got valuable light space going to waste. At this price I'm certainly not buying another. Honestly, the quality is absolutely there, but price points are now way to high. I went back to buy the same case, as I'm returning this one but the price is now $140. I paid in the $80. range for the one I ordered Aug 7th. I guess that's what demand does. As much as I want to, just can't justify purchasing another at this price.
