I used this product to hot and spicy soup. I am please with the texture and flavor.

My favorite brand of bamboo shoots. Very light, fresh tasting, thin, and crisp strips that are easy to incorporate in lots of dishes. I have a gut condition, and bamboo shoots are one of the few items I can eat freely as a neutral and nourishing food. Hence, I was very happy to find these.

I had never tried bamboo shoots before. I was looking forward to receiving these to use them in a Thai green curry. I wish I could give these 0 stars. When I opened the can, a horrible strong smell hit me that I cannot describe. The slices were also so soft, they turned into mush when tried to give them a gentle rince in a bowl of water. Before I tossed them, I braved to give them a try and the smell and the texture made me extremely nauseous. $30 in the garbage went.

I like bamboo. If you like just eating bamboo as it is - you should look for a different brand that is more seasoned. These are bland, but that is good for stir fry cooking. Most Chinese restaurants around me do not use bamboo any more, so I add this to the Chinese food and it is perfect because its neutral, it does not over power anything, so you can mix in as much as you want.

Great if mixed with a stirfry and also very good alone highly recommend

The shoots have a nice aroma and the taste is equally good. I use these mostly ln Thai chicken curry and I am 100% satisfied. I will buy this product as long as it is available. Thumbs up!!

I add these to my homemade pestos. It provides fiber and biotics. In good condition after being in a can.

These are not the bamboo shoots you are looking for. These are from more woody part of the lower bamboo, and not the tender tips. So the first thing you will notice is the weird smell when you open the can. You can mitigate the smell by boiling in water and dumping the yellowish liquid. But it's an extra step of work I wasn't expecting.
