I purchased this for a couple of small windows in 2 bedrooms... they use to bring in so much sunlight and I needed something to cover them up - These blackouts are amazing! They really do block out the sunlight. The windows don't feel hot either which is nice... I covered 3 windows in my sons' room and 2 windows in my Mother's room. They both seem much happier not having all that light showing through in their bedrooms.

Love this blackout film! It is easy to install. Measure twice and cut once. Give yourself a couple inches on both sides. Super easy to put on the window. I used a bottle of water with a few drops of dish detergent. Spray spray spray your window. Keep it wet as you work your way down. Apply the tint and from the top down and side to side and use a gift card to push out air bubbles. Make sure to spray the film before trying to smooth it out. This is so whatever you are using to smooth it out glides over the tiny easily. I’m used a number 2 exacto knife to trim it. It’s very dark which is what I wanted for my bedroom. I sleep like a baby now without any sunlight waking me!

This is my second time purchasing this brand “Coavas” the first was the white frosted look but I decided to get the blackout to limit the amount of light that comes through my front door and I’m very happy with this. I was skeptical about it wasn’t sure if it would really be 100% blackout but it is.. and my betta fish is happy with it too.. lol

We used this on a west window and it worked very well. Now that the summer is coming, the darkened room should make the room cooler. Too bad the roll wasn't a little bigger.

Ok as long as you have patience its easy..total blackout.stays on follow diections

I live in apartment set up a older building that has some interesting architecture. The walls of my south facing living room have slants and one of my windows is inside the slant and is an irregular shaped window. Its a half arch, and my previous attempts of blocking light (i work nights) have not been as good as this product) curtains, expensive paper shades, all failed where this succeeded in totally blocking out light and making my living room dark enough for any night worker to feel like its nighttime and get some sleep.

This product is great for blackout definitely 100% blackout in my triplets room the only thing is it’s not easy to install and you have to be very precise because it’s not adhesive sticking it to your window just static cling you have to be only on the glass of the window none on the trim or won’t stick!

I bought this for my aquarium that was getting too much algae due to too much UV exposure. It is near windows with no better place to put it. Within days noticed a big difference with light now blocked on 3 sides. Tank looks clear and much easier to maintain.

Installation was bit of a process especially cuz used it for an arched window so had to measure it out and cut it first but once u get over that step it’s totally worth it! Love it.
