Grammy award-winning musician Garry Kvistad created the first Woodstock Chime from an aluminum lawn chair he found in a landfill. As a professional musician and instrument designer, he was fascinated by the Scales of Olympos, a 7th century pentatonic scale that can't be played on a modern piano. I saw this product in a local shop and it was quite expensive. I was able to find it on Amazon for about half the cost, which was much better than locally, but was still a bit expensive for chimes.The tone and sound is very good. and the materials seem to be of good quality. Satisfied with the product overall.

Perfectly pitched, perfectly lovely
One of the most beautiful sounding chimes I have ever heard. I have perfect, absolute pitch and each note is perfectly tuned. this is rare in any chime but especially rare at this price. Looks as lovely as it sounds. Pitched an octave above middle C on a piano, it's not too harsh and the way in which chimes are hung results in a lovely gentle sound. Add a very small fan below it for perfect melody if using indoors.

I hung it in a tree outside the bedroom.It has a very lovely sound and very good quality.It gets very loud, when very windy, so bear that in mind, if you don`t want to be disturbed in your sleep.Will buy another one!
