Classic Fisheye Lens Great Value
This is definitely a classic Fisheye. I bought it for wider shots and for filming skateboarding. It's wonderful. Many imitation lenses claim they're true fisheye and aren't. This one is. It's worth the money and I highly recommend. The downside is that it's a death lens. If it gets hit, it's likely gonna damage the camera it's on. If you got a beefy camera you might be okay but keep in mind if you're filming action sports with this and it gets hit, you're losing either the lens or the camera. I have mine mounted to a Sony Handicam on a Scorpion grip. That seems to work fine for stability.

Exactly what you would expect
These pictures were shot on a canon zr65mc set to the "fine" picture quality. It fit the 30.5mm mount perfectly. Obviously 1024x768 is tiny compared to most modern cameras in 2020, but let's be real... If you're looking at this lens because you want a cheesy 80s/90s look, you've come to the right place.

Stay far far away, better options available
Every time. EVERY TIME!!! I keep giving Opteka chances with their product line, and they keep letting me down. This one is no different. Do NOT get this if you're a DSLR guy. Get the Meike 8mm (the one I currently own), Altura 8mm, or Rokinon 8mm (all currently at $140-200 at the time of this writing...). Mirrorless? Look into the Meike 6mm f/2.0 lens for like $140.As for this "panorama" and "vortex" and "fisheye" lens, you ge hat you paid for. Had to learn that the hard way. Do it right, and get the correct lens listed above. They dont break your bank, and honestly, it's what you're REALLY hoping, and searching for. :D

Nice wide angle lens !
Nice wide angle lens, works well for my scientific needs, low aberration and good coatings for a mass production lens.
