Q: What’s the difference between intake & exhaust valves? my reader is saying cam shaft oil control valve, i have a 2007 chevy trailblazer 4.2

that valve is to the right out of the power steering pump about 6in back for the front of the motor. you have to take the 3 bolts loose from the power steering pump beheind the pully that has holes in it. then remove the 10 mm bolt from the vvt sensor= exhaust camshaft position actuator solenoid.Intake valves are on the passanger side of motor. Low oil level or oil needing to be changed, or the wrong weight oil will cause a fault code. intake valves are smaller than exhaust valves.
