Made in USA, low noise
Well built, every piece, easy to assemble with impact nut driver, dead blow hammer, small cresent and utility knife. The unit is extremely quiet and powerful. I was pondering the Jet unit but 2 micron china made vs 0.3 micron and USA made had me spend the extra $850ish and I do not need extra 450ish cfm as I will single machine at a time. I also thought about putting money back into my own countries economy and that was the final decision making point. Haven't yet really put it through its paces, and will come back later if something changes to alter the 5 star rating. I do agree the bucket could be better designed but its not that hard if you get all three latches started and will rig a stand underneath.Update 7 month usage: still 5 stars, awesome and has more suction than i thought. Casters are doing fine. Buy once cry once. I got the dust right attachments and even the floor vacuum. With dust right attachments it is easy to switch from machines and other accessories.

Met my expectations but please improve the wheel casters.
Made my sanding and refinishing work 95% dust free. I like I can keep the vacuum in my trailer (some of the time) or at least keep it running just outside of my jobs. It's easy to notice right when the filter is stuffed up. Because I'm moving it around and the instructions told me to hand tighten the wheels on, now my wheels are mangle and I'm going to have to figure out a new wheel situation. Not something I'd thought I should have to deal with on this expensive tool. Anyways overall pleased and would give five starts if it weren't for the wheels failing on me.

Absolutely ideal for the small shop
The light weight and compact footprint make this a joy to use in tight quarters. The lack of a remote has not been a problem in fact I prefer it. I had a Harvey G700 before this unit; it had a single remote that I was always looking for and afraid I’d lose it.Suction is excellent through a 4” hose and emptying the dust bin is not difficult. I use a powerful leaf blower to clean the pleats in the HEPA filter and then suction the lower outlet using a 27mm Festool hose. It’s not a secure fit but if you just insert the hose into the larger opening it works well enough. The only negative I found is the poor quality of the plastics. I think this unit is a $12-1500 dollar unit that is now seriously overpriced but that’s life these days. I also read that this unit included a Baldor motor but that was not the case with the unit I received.Overall I’d definitely buy it again and much prefer it to more expensive and elaborate units I’ve had from Harvey and Laguna.

Good Suction, but Small Dust Bin is a Pain
Dust collection suction is okay. I’d like this machine if it weren’t for the small dust bin and how difficult it is to reattach it after emptying. I can’t criticize the company for the small dust bin, as they market it as a mobile dust collection solution and I realize they made design choices because of that. I really didn’t know how big a bin I needed, but now I know 22 gallons is too small. A couple of productive days in the shop will fill it up and require you to empty it. I err on the side of caution when emptying the bin (sooner vs later), because if you overfill the bin, chips will back up into the expensive air filter and that’s a real mess to clean up. Re-attaching the bin is a frustrating hassle. The bin uses 3 latches to secure it. Attaching any one (or two) of the latches scoots the bin to one side. That makes it hard to align the bin’s mating surfaces to get a good seal. Terrible design that is enough of a problem that I plan on selling the machine to get one with an easier-to-use dust bin.

Quality
Well made machine. Good suction. Made in USA. Only disappointment is bucket attachment/alignment is difficult. The 3 clamps is a bad design IMO. But Oneida seems to listen to customer feedback so I'm sure they'll improve this with time. For now a custom made dolly which uniformly raises the bucket into position is one workaround.Beats Chinese models with poor filtration.

Sucks in a great way
Works great, though I didn’t realize I was going to need to replace the electrical outlets in my garage to suit the plug.
