Nice set of hex keys!
I bought the Tekton 25282 Hex Key set because my current set (very similar to the Tekton) can't be in two places at once. When I'm in the garage it seemed my hex keys were in the basement, and when I was in the basement I had left them in the garage. Grrrrr.....So I moved my existing set to the garage and bought the Tekton for my "go to" tool tote. It's the one that is used for "most" general jobs. The Tekton has a nice range of hex keys and the fit and finish is fine. The keys are well held in the case - you can turn it upside down and not lose any keys. One nice touch on the case is that both the SAE and the metric cases come with a small ring built into the case, so if you want to hang your hex key set on a peg it's no problem. The 'ball head' on the long shaft allows you to finish loosening hard-to-get-to bolts, while the straight head on the short shaft allows for maximum torque in loosening or tightening bolts. The Tekton set is a nice addition to my tool tote, and I think they're a pretty good buy. YMMV, of course.HTHRegards,Jim

Long Length + Ball Tip = GREAT SET OF WRENCHES
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this item after doing quite a bit of research online and comparing prices on Amazon and other sites. This item was NOT A FREE SAMPLE.I bought these for three reasons: it's a full set of metric and conventional, it's also a very long set of wrenches (which means more reach), and the ball-heads on the long stems mean you can access your nuts from many angles. The cool cases are a bonus that I also like, though the real value here is in the wrenches. Before buying these I tried to find a good deal at my local hardware stores, but this set on Amazon ended up being better quality (ball heads + long) and cheaper. So it's a nice deal.

These are D-y-n-O-m-i-t-e ! .....Quality Hassle Free Performance,... First Class hinged case. Nice.
I've probably tried 3 or 4 different types of hex wrench sets and there was always something where they came up short in actual use.I have hex sets that fold out like a knife. But those are awkward if you do any amount of twisting,...you have to twist the bulky handle that houses all the other folded wrenches. I've had sets with no ball on the end and yes they do get the job done but you've got to make sure the hex is inserted directly into the bolt or problems when turning. Sometimes that's not possible. These hex ball ends dynamite. Well engineered with a great case with helpful features. These Tekton's are perfect for fitting into any situation where a straight in attack is not possible. Comes with both the metric & english sizes in their own case with sizes clearly printed on the hinged fold out flat case. Nice! Best case I've ever seen for hex wrenches. Plus the wrenches are a little longer than standard hex wrenches which makes life easier in most situation.BOTTOM LINE: I paid 19$ retail for metric set only. To get BOTH Metric/English for less & free shipping is a nice bargain. Easily EARNS 5-STARS.

Not bad
Came greasy causing me to have to wash all of the wrenches. I washed all of the wrenches with soap in the sink and put the holders in the dishwasher. the wrenches discolored a little after washing but they were still usable. This was annoying and time consuming and probably spend more time/money washing them than they're worth. This is why I took off one star. They're now harder to insert and remove from the holder but for me it's better than getting my hands greasy every time I use them.Otherwise these seem good. I haven't checked the accuracy but all of the wrenches were in good condition and the holder seems well designed. However, all holders like this have a lot of friction (especially without oil) that causes them to be difficult to remove. This isn't a fault of this specific product but something to keep in mind.

Buy these once, never buy another small hex set again.
When you need a hex key wrench, especially to drive a bolt at an odd angle, these ball-driver ended hex keys are invaluable. Whether it is your new IKEA furniture, some electronic hardware, or anything in between, these will fit the bill. The holder for these hex key sets is smartly designed, clearly labeled, and even has a lanyard loop in case you want to "dummy cord" the set to your toolbox, belt, or near a machine which requires their regular usage. The smaller keys swing out on a gate, so you can more easily arrange and access both rows. The tools themselves are fairly hard, meaning they will not readily be worn out by torquing on a fastener. The ball-ends allow you to drive at an angle, in case something like an upright dowel on a railing is in the way. The keys are also long enough to allow you more leverage than the usual types of keys which come with assemble-it-yourself projects. If you regularly require a small set of metric and/or imperial hex key wrenches, purchase this set once and never look back.

Heavy duty and physically heavy as well All sizes you will ever need
Heavy duty tools and ball ends as well. In ordering if you want ball ends make sure the writeup says that. It is about one dollar more but worth it. Tekton is building a reputation for their line of tools. I consider these above craftsman as craftsman is now making most of their (formerly Danaher) in China. I have a few sets of allen keys like this but can never find them when I need them. So this was a good buy.

Durable set
Works perfectly fine. All keys fit their labeled sizes correctly. They are a bit greasy out of packaging (to prevent rust I guess) so you'll have to adress that, but work fine. Everything but the smallest pieces are rock solid. I may be overestimating how strong the little ones are supposed to be in general though, may be me. The black paint at end of the bits scratches off quickly with use but no rounding or actual damage to the metal, just cosmetic wear. Would recommend. Every size I've ever needed to use can be found in that set; no missing sizes.
