I purchased this clock and I loved it, it was a great looking item and I was happy with the size. When the hour hand started to lag behind, I reached out to the seller who recommended that I open up the back and try to reset the hand. When this attempt failed, I reached out again and they sent me another clock right away. I really appreciate the customer service- prompt response and quick resolution to my issue. Thank you!

When I removed the Pocket Watch Clock carefully from its flimsy cardboard box and minimal protective packing, what was the first thing I noticed? The glass front was shattered! Neither the box nor packing showed any obvious damage, although there were two small holes, front and back, in the light-duty cardboard. I removed the broken glass, shard by shard, from the clock, because I wanted to hang it in the space where I intended to display it -- to determine how it would look on the wall and whether it was worth the significant risk of repeated breakage in reordering it.First of all, it was difficult for me to hang it on our wall. It has a single "keyhole" hanging device in back. These tend to work best with nails that have a head, and do not work safely unless the nail (with larger head) is securely attached to the wall. In any case, each time I was able to hang it, the clock appeared slightly off center. Well, then I asked my wife for her opinion of the clock, thinking she would agree with me about it being crooked. To my surprise, she said, "It looks TOO BUSY for that space." At that point, I looked at the clock more critically and agreed. We both concluded that the clock was definitely NOT worth the risk of reordering it and hoping that it would arrive with the glass intact. We returned the clock to Amazon. Ordering a clock of this size is always risky. If you like the design and are willing to accept the risk of breakage -- and investment of your time and effort in returning it and reordering a replacement -- good luck!UPDATE:Soon after my review was posted, the seller reached out to me and replaced the clock, which I had returned. The replacement clock arrived double-boxed, as it should have been packaged originally. The outer box was made of heavy-duty cardboard. The clock arrived undamaged, and the quartz movement has been both accurate and quiet, as advertised. Currently, the clock is temporarily in our living room. My wife now says that she "really likes" the design -- and that the clock was just "too busy" in the area where I had originally placed it. We plan to display it on a larger white wall with greater open space to enjoy it.The clock has interesting features that remind me of an antique trade sign, the kind that would hang outside an old shop in the late 1800s. It has substantial weight, which caused some initial difficulty hanging it properly. I included a photo of the back of the clock, showing the heavy fiberboard (mainly responsible for the clock's heft), the keyhole hanger, and the quartz movement.By the way, the Illinois Watch Company was founded in 1867 in Springfield, and was purchased by the Hamilton Watch Company of Lancaster, PA in 1928. So, there's not only accuracy in the clock's movement, but in its recreation of an antique design.

Buying online can always be a little risky of what you’re getting, however this clock is top notch. Beautiful details and a nice heavy weight.(no cheap plastic here) It was exactly what we were looking for to add to our decor, and have an easy to read beautiful time peace.

Got it and put a battery in it and the hands where locked up, took it completely apart to find out it was slipping cause it was made with a Very junky Clock Motor, the clock frame itself is top knotch and beautiful, But the motor and how they put the hands on Are Junk! Had to replace clock Motor on back from a spare and Hands as well to make it work, Very Sad yal Sell Anything like this and don't Check that it works Before it Leaves the Facility! I mean what are yal thinking, well you can't be thinking to do something so dumb, I wouldn't sell a dang one at all til you do so inspecting and Figure If it's even working or being built correct, Makes me Sick to know anyone would do such a thing and actually sell just plain Jane Junk, and Hinestly I believe you know it to screw people, cause yal know how much heck a customer has to go through with yal Goons to get your refund of your money so that's where you screw people cause you know 60% of people will just put it aside and say I'll take care of later and never do til it's to late to get your Money Back for a return or just dont want spend the whole return time trying to get someone to answer a dang phone or to help you go through the steps to get a return, and that's where yal screw people for your money.

The battery has to be replaced every few days. I bought the clock less than two weeks ago and had to replace the battery twice already. I love the clock but not the battery situation. The seller was very helpful and refunded my money.

I love this clock. It has all the blue shades of my bedroom and is large enough to see from anywhere in the room. It was easy to hang and you only need a solid picture hanging hook. Great choice at a good price.

I love this clock, it's beautiful. At first I was nervous because the box/package it came it was super flimsy and the end was open. The clock arms were bent but bent back into shape easily. Overall, I'm happy with the clock but feel very lucky it works after its travels!

The clock was well packaged and fully assembled. Great product.
