I’m not used to using paste to shape my hair. I’ve used one other brand and wasn’t impressed. But THIS is a different story. I’ve only used it for three days so far, but I believe this has already officially replaced my previous favorite hair shaping/holding product. Good flexible hold. Keeps my hair feeling soft. I can feel the paste in my hair, but it’s not sticky, greasy or hard to wash out. The matte finish keeps my look natural. My hair has shape, but it doesn’t look like I’ve got product in my hair. I use it on damp, but not wet hair, then let it air-dry. I would recommend starting out using just a little and find out how much is right for your hair type, length and style. Easier to add a little more during the learning curve than washing out too much! I get a little on a couple of fingertips, then rub my hands together so the at my fingers are coated, the I run my fingers through my hair to apply the product. …Then I just shape it the way I want it. Quick, easy and effective! This may sound odd, but I like the size of the package. It’s enough that I don’t feel like I’m being ripped off, (because when that happens - for example, if a product packaging size goes down and the price doesn’t come down or, worse, goes up - I stop using that product), but not so much that it takes up counter space on the bathroom or looks like I bought it at a warehouse/bulk club! The lid screws on nicely, so I can throw it in my suitcase or overnight bag and I’m off on a road trip without having to worry about the product leaking in my bag! And finally, let’s address the scent of it. It’s mild and not overpowering. And it’s quite pleasant. It’s similar to coconut-vanilla, but that is not at all what the scent is. It won’t make a woman smell masculine or a man smell feminine. It won’t clash with cologne, either; and it won’t give you a headache. It’s distinct, but it’s mild, pleasant and unobtrusive. Not sure how they managed to do that, but this is the first hair care/styling product I’ve ever had that has such a perfect scent. I’m a pretty tough customer when it comes to hair styling products. I tend to find more negatives than positives. But this is fantastic. It’s perfect in so many ways and I hope they never make changes. I’ll be recommending this to my friends, as well. I’m very pleased and I can hardly wait until tomorrow so I can use it again!

STMNT Hair Clay has quickly become one of my favorite styling products. It gives my hair a strong hold without making it feel stiff or crunchy, and the matte finish looks clean and natural all day. A little goes a long way, so the jar lasts much longer than I expected. I also really like how easy it is to work through my hair. It adds texture and volume without leaving behind a greasy feeling or flaky residue. The scent is subtle but smells fresh and professional, almost like you just left the barber shop. This clay works great for both messy textured styles and more polished looks, and it holds up well even on busy days. Definitely a solid product if you want reliable hold with a natural finish.

Hands down the best product. Use it in 90% of all my clients. If used right (moist hair, apply then blow dry) you can achieve a long lasting style. Easy to use and very versatile. 100 times better ingredients that will coat your hair. With a little more effort you can achieve the look of texture powder without stripping your hair of moisture and nutrients. Very effective with a strong matte hold. Yet still pliable to shape your hair to your needs. This is a styling must have. Lets not forget the amazing scent it produces as well

I picked up the STMNT Grooming Goods Matte Paste mainly to tame my thick Asian hair, which can be pretty stubborn to style. I’ve tried a handful of products over time, and while this one performs well overall, I still find myself comparing it to Reuzel Concrete, which I slightly prefer. The scent is actually one of the standout features here, clean and noticeable without being overpowering. The hold is strong and does a great job keeping everything in place throughout the day, even with thicker hair. That said, the texture is a bit grainy when working it through your hands, which isn’t my favorite. It washes out decently, but not perfectly. You may need a more thorough rinse or a second wash to fully get it out. Better than hair spray or powder. Smells amazing works amazing, dont need to get worried about hair seeming matted or too rough. Great strength, and works amazing for my straight hair.

This has lasted me over a year, in fact it has been a year since I bought it and I’m only half empty, I use it everyday. For reference I have pin straight short hair and love to have texture in it. It has a nice hold and can be applied on wet or dry hair. It doesn’t dry crunchy or stay wet at all. I found it doesn’t leave a shine either. It really thickens up hair and lets you add texture. I also found that you don’t need to specifically apply to the roots or the tips but wherever and it will hold, you can really play around with it. It usually stays all day for me as well, even as an active person. The only thing that gets it out is a generous amount of water, which is a good thing.

I try all types of paste. I saw this one used on YouTube videos I watch. I decided to try it, and I must say that I am impressed. First, the scent is nice. It has a coconut scent and it is light. Second, the hold is fantastic. I might have applied too much the first time I used it. I realized that I don't need much. I'm still trying different ways to style my hair, but I will definitely use this a lot.

Super produit. Enfin une cire qui allie efficacité, effet naturel, odeur au top et ne colle pas. La texture est super entre la pâte et la cire sans effet collant Franchement malgré le prix un peu élevé par rapport a d'autres cires pour le même format, elle bien meilleure que toutes celles que j'ai pu tester. Elle tient toute la journée en laissant un effet mat naturelle sans en mettre des tonnes. Elle sent hyper bon, amateur d'odeur de coco vous allez êtes servis... Elle part facilement sous la douche sans avoir à faire 50 shampooing. Franchement rien a redire elle va devenir ma base dans les produits que j'utilise au quotidien.

Die STMNT Matte Paste hat mich wirklich überzeugt. Der Halt ist stark genug, dass die Frisur den ganzen Tag sitzt, wirkt dabei aber trotzdem natürlich und nicht „betoniert“. Das matte Finish sieht super aus und macht die Haare nicht fettig oder verklebt. Besonders positiv finde ich, dass sich die Paste sehr leicht einarbeiten lässt und man die Frisur auch später noch etwas nachstylen kann. Der Duft ist angenehm und hochwertig. Insgesamt ein sehr gutes Stylingprodukt für alle, die starken Halt mit einem natürlichen, matten Look suchen. Würde ich definitiv wieder kaufen!
