Thick needles
The needles are so thick that you couldn’t use them for decorative sewing. They would leave holes in most fabric. The wooden cases are nicely crafted.

Didn't work
I do hand quilting, I bought these for the size of the eye, only needle would not go through 3 layers of fabric

Great find for sashiko!
I needed a thin, big eye needle for sashiko, which uses thick thread. The small sizes in this assortment work perfectly; they are thin and very sharp. As an added bonus, the needle cases are nice looking and beautifully made.

Love the cases
Bought these for the cases. Good thing because the needles are too large for my needs. I think they are for crewel work, definitely not fine enough for binding quilts. BUT the cases are great and reasonably priced! They protect my sharps and make taking needles to bees sooo much safer! I’m glad I bought these cases but I only kept 3 needles.

Nice for keeping with stitching projects
I like to keep a needle keeper with my hand stitching project. Works well for cross stitch & hand quilting-not sure about the needle s that have with the holders-were huge, I just replaced with what I needed

I'd buy it again.
Maybe a little hard to open the first time but the needles seem to keep their sharpness. Great for my granddaughter's new embroidery passion.

NOT QUITE WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR
ONE OF THE NEEDLES BROKE INTO 3 PIECES THE FIRST TIME I USED IT. WAS LOOKING FOR SOMETHING A LITTLE STURDIER.
