AWS/American MadeSlouch Socks Women and Men Extra Tall Heavy Cotton Socks Size 9 to 11

These are so cute and slouchy! They are very soft but on the thin material side. They look and feel really great on. I’m thinking of getting some more after I wash them and see how well they hold up. Like I said the material is not heavy cotton but more of a thin cotton. Overall these are great for the slouchy look I was going for!

Sock were exactly what I was looking for to complete my old school look.. very comfy!!!

If you are trying to decide whether to buy the 2 pack or the 6 pack...get the 6 pack. You will wear these all the time. Your family will steal them. You will need more. You will want them in all the colors. I love these socks. They are great for a slouchy sock, and for lounging around the house. I wear them pulled up too. They look great in boots, and with a skirt (I can wear all my summer skirts all year round now, these keep me toasty.) They slouch when you place them that way, but I have not had any issues with them falling down when I want to wear them up. I am 5'11, I have wide calves, and I wear a 11w women's shoe. These fit comfortably, they aren't too tight, nor too loose. They hit just under my knee when pulled up, and the foot fits great.

At first, I loved these socks. I really like the amount of "slouch" - lots of plush material. They are soft, and the weave is fairly loose so they aren't too heavy or hot (which may be a bad thing if you live somewhere colder than Oklahoma.) The length is nice, colors are great (love the grey!) and I can easily pull them up over my giant calves. All good! After a few wears, though, I really wish I hadn't bought so many pairs. I bought 3 6-packs, and let me tell you, they almost fill my sock drawer by themselves! That would be great if not for the fact that the foot of these socks stretches so much during wear that by the end of the day the socks are practically whirling around on my feet. It's annoying trying to keep them on straight - or even just keep them on at all. Another reviewer mentioned the loose strings catching her toes and I can second that as well. I need some blue socks now and I think I'll try something else.

I liked these because I prefer the look of slouch socks. They are advertised as 'heavy'. The material on the sole and toe of the foot isn't heavy. It's more like a medium to thin weight. I am in the house alot so don't wear shoes much compared to others and these socks last me about 4-5 months. I could be wrong here but I prefer socks to last at least a year, or two. Was going to buy more because I once again am finding large gaping holes in toes and sole of socks but, am going to shop around to see if there's something else. If you're American made, you should be putting out a product that reflects quality. These socks, in my opinion, aren't long-lasting and for me, that's not good enough.

Update to previously review:Initially I liked these socks but as I further using pairs from the packages I purchased I quickly realized most of them are inconsistent. A majority of the top part of the socks are uneven, there is zero stretch in the foot so most of them are too tight, the upper slouch area has areas of being super thin, and many have loose strings as well as snags. Not only that but they get very very hot, I don’t remember if these were to be cotton/spandex or what but they feel like polyester. I’m in Florida but I have health issues that make me very cold however when I wear these my whole body literally sweats. The toe area is also very uncomfortable when wearing with a shoe. I’m not sure what happened as to why the first couple pair were great but the rest not so much.Previous review:These are nice slouch socks, but they are super long and give a double slouch sock appearance (basically they come up a lot higher on the leg than slouch socks back in the 80’s and 90’s) I do really like them though as they are comfortable to wear however I typically only wear these when lounging around the house. I have also worn them with my 80’s and 90’s Halloween costumes because they do come up so high on the leg it give a fun effect to my costumes. In all I do recommend them but for me they are more of lounging socks rather than daily wear socks.

Omg I have searched high and low for the PERFECT and these are IT!!! I love them soooo much!!! I have ordered almost every color and want more more more!! If you are thinking about ordering these DO IT!!!

I basically lived in these socks over the last 2 years, they even saw some time in the hospital with me and I couldn't have curled up comfortably without them, so I'm beyond grateful for that. After wearing nearly all the pairs out, I reordered this week and am saddened by quality changes... and the size.The older version were a little oversized, with the heel often slipping up the back of my ankle (I wear a 7 - 8 shoe), which I found kinda cute actually. They were easily tugged up over my knees when I was cold and the new versions just won't. The heel of the sock won't even slip over my heel now and the knitting feels oddly out of place around the ankle and top of my foot. The knit is quite a bit thinner than the older version as well. They were... fluffy!I know things change and improvements to some people's liking leaves some of us out in the cold sadly. I'm going to be colder. Bummed.

My wife loved the socks they fit perfectly and look great. I thought I would bye some more for her but they are now charging 70 pounds!!!That's why I have scored them low...

The socks are ok. Definitely slouchy but not the best quality. They’re a bit see-through due to the thin material. I wouldn’t buy them again but not so unhappy that I would return them.

I loved these socks then and I love them now. A little long but will be easy to put in tall boots or have them slouched over winter boots. Terrific!

They are warm and slouchy. A little big for a size 7 foot. They took a really long time to come but worth it. 👍🏼
