Great pen for those that are particular about their inks.
Very good concept that you're able to fill your own ink into a pen. As an artist I am very picky about the inks I use. I have tried so many different types. I been refilling microns for years but was restricted only to black and the colors they offer. This pen is similar to micros but you can use any inks. Note: I haven't tried inks that have shellac in them like India ink. Easy to use just dip on end and watch it go up 80% filled and stop. Put it into the pen, close the bottom with the provided plug and color the color you used on the sticker provided. I hope they will offer more sizes of nibs other than the few available, especially the multiliner tips. I will definitely buy more when I need it!

Kara-fabulous pen when it's holding my ink! Be cautious and careful, when refilling.
Discovered this handy pen a while back, when I found myself with a large grip of ink, and needing something to hold it (different than a paint brush or a dip pen holder). The clear body with accompanying wicks enable me to see the inks that I want to work with. It's fun putting the wick in ink, watching it slurp up the liquid as it climbs the inky reservoir. The only draw back I see is when the ink runs out and you want to refill it. I'd rather keep refilling a pen of any kind, rather than discarding it after it has been used. A pair of pliers helps. Enjoy!

Great for specialty inks
I’m in to fountain pens so family and friends always bring me random inks that they find at thrift stores etc. The problem is that fountain pen ink is a very specific type else it can ruin the pen. So I have a collection of cool art and dip pen inks that I was not able to enjoy, until I found these. Filling these pens is as easy as dipping the reservoir in the ink, inserting it in the pen, and capping the end. The only thing I would change about these is to offer a bulk pack. I have a lot of inks!

Don’t buy…
The pen filled in less than a minute it seemed. The tip started out quite fine but turned mush in writing just one letter. Instead of writing like a fine tipped pen it was more like a broad felt-tipped marker. And the ink started fading out like it was running dry. I’m glad these were pretty cheap!

Not a brush pen. Still a good item.
These are not brush pens; they’re more like a felt til pen. That said, they hold a lot of ink, are easy to assemble and the ink flows well when using them. I have only used them with alcohol based dyes, which are very thin, so a thicker medium may not flow as well.

Fine tip markers; mix your own! Inspirational Product for artists
I have been experimenting with alcohol ink products to create my particular palette of colors. If you draw with commercial art markers, they may be cheap, but they don't last long. And so often, the color is just not what you expected. This product allows you to make your own. Kits of many colors of alcohol ink are reasonably priced and can offer an infinite array of hand mixed colors. The product is inspirational ; and affordable . They are easy to make, but I advise trying the Kuretake ink mixing kit to learn and hone technique. I have been experimenting with the copic marker refills, to produce a color formula of my own with precise recipes so I never run out. I was pleasantly surprised that alcohol ink could work so well. You can buy the pens with your choice of tips. I find the "oblique" metal tip versatile enough to meet my needs. I have not had these for more than a month , but so far they outlast any commercial marker I have used.

EF tip wears down super fast
I really wanted to love this. I was so excite that this was essentially a refillable micron pen that I can use with fountain pen ink. It started out really well. It was easy to load ink up and begin writing almost immediately. I used the first pen as a "test" pen. I did everything according to the instructions except I didn't cap the end all the way and just left enough space for me to pry it open when I need to refill the ink. The wick that goes inside the pen looks like it takes quite a bit of ink but because it doesn't free flow and depends on capillary action, it seems like it dries quite often so if you're using this for long writing sessions, it may not work for you. I find that I have to take a minute break or so with it capped before ink begins to flow at the pigment I expected it to. I would say, about 20 pages of writing, I needed to top off the ink because it wasn't writing as it should. That was until I found that the nib was wore down. There isn't any refills for nibs that you can buy which is a bummer. If you remove the nib, it looks like it can accommodate a marker tip based on how large the opening is. This is definitely a functional product but completely over priced for how fast the nib wears down. I really wanted this to work as it seemed like all the parts can be washed and reused as long as you don't cap it in the back completely or if you do, take the nib out and refill it with a syringe. Just be careful as you can overfill super fast. Less is better in this case. These made some of my non paper friendly fountain pen inks usable because of how it tends to write drier.

Ink soakage was difficult but with the right ink, the pen worked well.

I like the idea of having a reusable and refillable liner pen. To lessen my impact on the environment. However, this one is meh. The "brush" nib is very stiff and the ink flow is spotty, no matter how long you soak the sponge. It's good in theory, subpar in practice.
