In the days of old, when I was growing up, a clutch was almost always a mechanically actuated system. One with a series of levers, springs, arms, and pushing paraphernalia to make a breaking point between the motor and transmission. The Newfangled contraptions of modern times, use the science of hydraulics to do the job, and with much greater efficiency. New Fangled meaning 2001 Chevy Blazer. The hydraulic systems of today operate so smoothly that you'd think you're driving an automatic. Well, until you forget to depress the clutch at a traffic stop!! Did I mention that I'm Really old!!? Well, I am! Just not so old as to think that just because the old Slave cylinder works fine, that not replacing the internally mounted slave cylinder when doing a clutch job will save me a few bucks! At least not on a vehicle so tightly assembled, that you have to disassemble the entire driveline in order to get at the part. No, at 150,000 miles, it's just a matter of time before you're kicking yourself for not doing the job right the first time. And at under $50.00, Amazon makes changing out the slave cylinder easy on the Wallette as well. Now,, If I can just remember to push in the clutch when I roll up to the Stoplight in front of the nursing home, to impress the babes with the fact that I still have a driver's license, I'll be batting 1,000!! Brand new, good quality piece, fit my t56 perfectly

It’s a garbage part, save yourself the headache. installed new right out of the box in my wife’s LS swapped nova, the bleed valve doesn’t seal when tightened so it leaks profusely as if the bleeder isn’t even there. Would discourage anyone from purchasing a major hydraulic component. Worst part, can’t get reimbursed because it’s no longer within the window. Going with factory GM equipment. Also ZERO miles on parts.

The slave cylinder works fine but the quick connection failed as I was trying to bleed the clutch. I had to remove the quick connect from slave cylinder and replace it with the old old in order to be able to bleed the clutch.

Everything was good except for the coupler. Needs better Machining done on it. Had to modify it to make it work

Quick disconnect is incompatible with the OEM hydraulic line. Don't buy this, it's garbage. I now need to source, order, and replace this again without even being able to bleed it - zero miles.

I got it broken from the states after I’ve been waiting around 2 weeks. Very bad quality!
