The cord replacement worked just fine with a really old table lamp that I had.I just wish this came with more instructions step-by-step, or at least an indication of which side is the hot side and which one's the neutral side. The seller does answer that question in the Amazon questions, but I had to look for this information before finding it in the Q&A. At the very least, maybe just have the information in the product description if it doesn't make sense to add a user manual at this price. Not really complaining, it totally does what it's meant to and it's a great price too.

I recently purchased a wall light for our office and when it arrived I realized I had purchased a "wired" unit. Ugh. So I ordered this plug to wire the light myself so I could still use it. It worked perfectly. All I had to do after wiring was drill a small hole int he bottom of the wall light fixture so the cord could come out the bottom to be plugged in. Great product for wiring a plug into a "wired" item.

I have never rewired a lamp before, but my favorite lamp quite working. I watched a video on how to rewire , ordered the parts and completed the job in about 30 minutes. This was a great purchase.

This has to be the most fantastic lamp cord I have ever purchased. It was easy to work with and after replacing my old lamp cord with it, my lamp has stopped flickering! I will definitely look for one of these the next time I need to replace a lamp cord - something I seem to have to do every 30 or 40 years!

Very inconspicuous. The gold cord is now way too bright. I think the silver stands out less than white. Off white no longer offered. It is almost clear. I am very happy with it.

It works as expected and seems sturdy. It's only been a month but I do not find any fault with it so far.
