Patak'sSweet Mango Chutney, 12 oz

I grew up eating chutney, given I am Canadian/English, and we always had chutney as a condiment. While I used to buy Trader Joe's version, they do not carry it anymore. However, this product has much more flavor and I can use it on sandwiches (best) and any other kind of food, including chicken, vegetables, etc. The price may be high but it is well worth the expense if you like a lot of flavor. like me

We like the consistency and flavor

Like all Patak's products, the chutney I bought is great. I use it with Indian food (chuntney and pickles on the side), also for my special variety of devilled eggs with Madras curry powder and chopped cashew.Shipping company was excellent, product arrived even earlier than announced after placing the order.

No hard bits, sweet if you like that. I use it rarely, but it seems good quality like most other patak products.

I used it in a recipe for broccoli salad.

We just love this chutney, literally everyone in my family loves it. We eat it with nann bread and curry, a match made at the dinner table with very happy tummy’s!!! Try it there’s no going back.

Great sweet heat just like chutney's supposed to be. I really hate salmon but I saw a recipe that called for chutney glaze on salmon, so decided to try it. OMG! I can now eat salmon and like it. Couldn't taste that over fishy taste at all. This is now a permanent cooking additive in my kitchen. It is a bit hot, so adding a little mango preserves will tone it down for you cooler tasters.

Barely any pieces of mango in it. Sweetness is the ruling flavor not mango. Didn’t like it.
