Perfect for our gift projects.

Like many Pinterest fanatics, I am on the hunt for the perfect spice jar. These are an expensive option but I was willing to give them a try because I liked the way these jars looked and had hoped they'd be more durable glass than Libbey 4-1/2-Ounce Spice Jar with Lid, Set of 12 (which was my initial choice bought at Crate and Barrel--Amazon has a better price) which have thinner glass and have a plastic seal. The Global Amici jars were the right dimensions for a shallow kitchen drawer unlike the Bormioli Rocco Quattro Stagioni 5 Ounce Canning Jar, Set of 12 which are like a quality item from my shopping research at The Container Store, but are a little too tall for my kitchen drawers.The Global Amici Orto jars do look great and each jar even came with a small sheet of sticker label with a dotted oval that you could cut out to fit the indented front of the jar(though I cannot comment on the performance of the labels) and met my expectations for looks and dimensions, but the first shipment arrived damaged--three of the jar lids were dented and returned to Amazon. The second shipment also arrived damaged--this time, a broken jar! This time, Amazon won't do a replacement because they are out of stock, so I'm still looking for the perfect spice jar. Very disappointing.

Perfect jar for special gift jams and jellies. Regular mouth 2 piece lids and rings fit these.
