I really liked so many things about this dress! It would be easy wear, easy to pack, and probably light enough for a mild summer day. I ordered a medium, my usual size and the size Amazon said was my most suited, but it was just too snug all the way around the middle. It fit fine for my 38 D chest, the problem lies in the mid section where I carry my weight. I ordered a M, I'm 5'2" and 143 lbs. I read the reviews and decided I should size up to an XL- I swam in it! I have a large coming tomorrow and we'll see!*So, got the large. It is a bit big mostly in the back, however, it is really made for a taller person with a longer torso. It's sadly going back. If you are short like I am, but have a long torso it may work for you!

I purchased this dress on sale in two colors - black/white stripe and purple/white stripe. I couldn't decide between the two! Ultimately, I am glad I bought both. Although, I probably wouldn't pay full price for this dress since I always try to buy on sale. I am 5'2", 130lbs and went with the medium because I like having a little more room in clothing than not. I made the right call going with medium. It is not a tight nor loose fit, but the fit is just right. Despite the stripes being horizontal, they are thin stripes, and the style of the dress is actually somewhat slimming. I can potentially envision the dress shrinking somewhat, so I'd just be careful about that when washing. The material is not thick, nor is it see through. I do think the type of material could feel somewhat hot in certain weather, but I still plan on giving one or both dresses a go outdoors during my upcoming Bermuda cruise. If there's one small critique I have, it would be that the tie around the dress is not quite long enough to wrap around the back and then to the front. I'd prefer do that to create a more "separated" look between top & bottom. I probably will wear it that way, but the tie in front will look a little short. I am pretty selective when it comes to clothing styles, so for me to give this 4 stars is pretty much like giving it 5 - I recommend buying this dress to see if you like it!

I wore this dress to school today (I’m a teacher) and received several compliments on it. One colleague told me it was very flattering on me and even one of our high school girls told me it was cute! The fabric is nice weight, not too thin, not too heavy. It has a bit of stretch to it and the dress is well made. I chose to wrap the ties around my back and tie in a knot in front instead of just tying a bow. I like it better that way. I love the pockets. We carry 2way radios and it held the heavy radio just fine and did not pull too much in the dress.I’m 5’3 and about 134 lbs. it comes to the top of my knees. Perfect length. Love it. May order more!

I love this dress. I purchased the teal blue and the color was perfect. I did order a size up (L) because I didn’t want it too form fitting, it was a little big in the waist area which is easy to fix with the ties but made the pockets a little awkward, though still usable. I am 5’9” and it hit just above my knees. It was comfortable, lightweight enough for the summer, and not see though.

I love several things about the dress: color, style, material is super soft and seems to be the best compromise between thick and thin so you don’t overheat, but you aren’t see through.That being said, the back kinda clings. Panty lines will show. I fixed that, but the dress still shows everything. Every roll or curve shows. Maybe a pattern will fix that.I’m keeping it bc I love the front but I’ll wear shape wear under to avoid panty lines. 🤣

I found this dress on Amazon & decided to take a chance with them. They were so cute so I decided to purchase 3 of them. Adorable to just through on to run errands or dress up & wear to my nieces graduation party! A friend asked me why I was so dressed up, I simply replied, I am just sick & tired of looking like I just left the gym or came out of the pool. But just the perfect amount of dress up that I can wear just to wear!

I can count the number of times I've left a review on one hand and never have I included an image, but this was such a nice surprise. This is a quality dress that looked and fit just like the advertiser said. This photo is a bit dark so it's hard to tell that this is the blue striped dress (it looks gray in my photo) It is made well and super soft. There are so many disappointing purchases I've made so I just had to give a shout out to whoever the maker is of this dress. Nice to know there are people who care about the product they sell and are not just trying to make a quick buck off crap that is made to look decent online. I'm buying more colors!

To be as objective as possible I'll just list facts:Pros:Great cut and styleFits perfectStriped pattern gives a beachy yet professional lookCons:Larger chest and smaller waist= looking like a capital P.Is this the dresses fault? No. But not every dress does this. I think it's because of the tie front. If I didn't plan on wearing it to my job as a high school teacher I would have rocked it at work. However, while it was flattering, the look was a bit too flattering for that setting.I will wear this on our trip to Europe for sure!

Somewhat true to size. I've ordered a medium but it felt a bit too tight on me so I've ordered the large. Not see-through and comfortable. Super cute summer dress.*Edit: I've decided to stick with the medium as it was a better fit. The large came in a different color, it was a bit more pink.
