Sums Astrology Up Pretty Well ...
The media could not be loaded. I gave it a 4 based on the photo shared. It came with a cosmetic tear on the cover. I waited so long for the book for it to come that way, so I am a little disappointed in delivery. Overall, I give the book a 5. I skimmed through it and love that it includes information on basic astrology, and in-depth information on all planets. Definitely excited to add this to my collection.

Tanaaz is the best
I’ve followed Tanaaz for a few years now, and was so happy to receive her book for my birthday. Like all of her content extremely informative, easy to understand, and offers so much guidance.

Too brief too little to offer
Too brief too little to offer and for this reason this is a way too expensive. I don’t recommend this to anyone at all.

The Ultimate Guide to Astrology Earns 4.5/5 Celestial Blueprints...Intriguing!
Curiosity and some basic exploration has lead me to “The Ultimate Guide to Astrology” by Tanaaz Chubb. “Use the Guidance of the Planets to Manifest Your Power and Purpose” intrigued me, however, I am a novice and this resource, I believe, is for one who doesn’t just dabble. Don’t overlook the Introduction which does preface the idea the “book will break down the basic components and set you on the path to read and understand the vibrations...messages they hold for you.” Starting off requires you have had a birth chart already done (I do have mine developed several decades ago), and then the sections help to define, decode, and interpret key elements. I found the explanations about “The Themes of Each [of the twelve] House[s]’ and “Zodiac Signs” very informative, and the remainder of the book goes into more detail about effects the planets have on those House characteristics and one’s own life. Fascinating resource!Disclosure: I received an ARC from the publisher thru Edelweiss. My review is voluntary with honest insights and comments.

An Author Unpublished Book Review
I received a copy of this book directly from the author/publisher in exchange for an honest review. If you wish to learn more about Astrology, this book is a fairly comprehensive guide. The book is well-written and well-organized and covers all the different aspects of natal charts and horoscopes that you may ever want to know.I appreciate that the author didn't attempt to assign Astrology to any sort of solid science, nor make too many bold claims about the practice - it is simply presented as-is as information for the reader.

a good addition to a modern astrology library
I'm not an expert in astrology, nor do I wish to become one, but I do like learning about it (it is an ancient science, after all, and there's something fascinating about the idea of the ancients using the position of the stars and the heavenly bodies to provide them insights into their everyday lives...) There are many books on the topic, and they are becoming more and more accessible, and this is a good addition to that group. I think every astrology book that puts a more modern spin on this practice offers something unique because each author tends to bring their own perspective to the table. I mainly use these books as extra resources for using my various decks of astrology-inspired cards (which I use for meditation and mindfulness) and for inspiring some of the paintings and sketching I do in my art journal, which often has a "specae/celestial" element because I've always been fascinated with everything related to outer space. As our knowledge grows about the scientific workings of the universe, and astrology seems a little more "quaint", i still think it's an important part of history and culture- people were always fascinated with the stars and planets, and always looked up to them, and most likely will continue to do so, no matter what science has to teach us in the future.

A Good Beginners Guide to Astrology with steps
Im glad this is not just a book of explanation of symbols. While it does do that, it begins with the basics of setting up a nativity. I feel like this is losing its art in astrology. Whether this is the "Ultimate" or "Definitive" guide is up for debate, it is however, a useful and practical guide. There are some blank charts for you to set up the astrology as it tells you what information to look for, and then noting it on the chart. Once you have the information set up, then you can ascribe an interpretation. This is where the symbolic meanings come in. The second half of the book explores the planets, signs, and also positions, such as the houses, to make an overall estimation of what the stars placement at any period you choose, could tell you about yourself or a person. The back of the book says "Modern Guide to Astrology". I am not sure what this really means when to me this is classical astrology. There is nothing essentially modern or new here, other than the publication itself. Its well laid out, the pictures offer a nice visual reference and it also serves as a workbook. Overall I think its a good book to get if you are starting out or have some basic understanding of Astrology to get you practicing.

The easiest book on learning astrology
I've bought books in the past on astrology and each of them, whilst being great in their own way, have been very complicated and written in a way that made the content dry to consume and painstaking to work through. Those were written by well known astrologers but those seemed to be written with the intention of maintaining a complicated mystery about it so that they wouldn't ever be out of a job. This book however, is different. I adore Tanaaz and I love watching her forecast readings on YouTube, and this book has maintained her simplicity and her true intention of sharing knowledge. This book is well written, extremely easy to read and understand, and definitely something that I'd recommend for anyone who's interested in either learning all about astrology, or those who want to know that little bit more to be able to interpret their own birth chart better. After only around two hours yesterday, I consumed large chunks of the book as I read the parts that related to just my own birth chart and I'm ready to go back and re-read it all again, and learn more about the information that I skipped over. There's space in the book for you to fill in your own birth chart details. I've filled it in in pencil because I didn't want to ruin the book, but the pages are thick and semi glossy, and writing in ink might be better. (Or just copy out those pages and write it on a separate piece of paper.)Definitely recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn anything about astrology. It's so much easier than all the other books on the topic!
