Didn't like this house dress at first. Had even started the return process. Then something told me to give it one more chance. So glad I did.My complaint echoed that of other reviewers: fabric too paper-like. I started return process and decided it was going to be too much trouble. So I washed it, as I do everything before wearing.Washing this garment made a world of difference. It no longer felt paper-like. It came out wrinkle-free and very soft, which makes it super-comfortable. Can't imagine any house dress being more lightweight. Luv the big patch pockets.I live where it's seldom hot enough to warrant air conditioning. It's perfect for the few days of the year where it gets up in the upper 80s-90s, and the 3-4 days a year it reaches 100+ (that's only a slight exaggeration).I can see myself wearing this throughout most of the year, as it also seldom gets really cold here. Yeah, I recommend it. Durability? I wouldn't know yet. But judging by hpw well it came out of two washings, I don't think that will be an issue.FYI: I'm 5'3", 143 lbs. Medium works well for me and hits right around my kneecaps.

I bought this in 4x. I am size 18, but I wanted it big. Well it sure is big, and I wish I had gotten a 3x. In the past, with garments like this, even though they are polyester, they have shrunk, but I don't think this one will. BEWARE, I washed it once, and the purple dye ran onto some cotton underwear I had in the machine.I just bought it as a quick, run to the shower robe, and it works well for that. Not all that see through in the color I chose, but I would not answer the door with it, either. As an all day garment, it is not as warm as some others I have had, but polyester is never cool.These days, for the price, this is about as good as it gets. The best thing parents and grandparents can do is to teach youngsters to sew -- boys and girls -- that way they can run little things like this up in no time, and, they'll be better off.

size fits well, a little stiff, i hope it softens up after a few washes

Please know I'm repeating what others have mentioned with a few exceptions. It was huge because I bought the size I usually buy. Totally missed that the zipper doesn't go all the way down. Fabric texture and sound I chalked up to sizing (softened up after 3rd wash). I'm keeping, to much hassle to return.

This dress was very large for xlarge. I kept it and took it in.

This piece is extremely soft and comfortable. The color is also great...expect lots of compliments!

I would have given 5 stars if it zipped from the bottom to the top

These housecoats were for my mother-in-law. They fit perfect. They’re true to size comfortable lightweight breathable and the colors are perfect.

Such a lightweight housecoat - which is exactly what I was looking for to keep cool when doing housework. Arrived quickly. I bought a second one.

Loved the shape the fit the colour but most of all no need to iron.

Very disappointing. I bought two of these zippered sleeveless night robes for my mother. I am thinking that the good reviews in here were written before they got washed. I thought they looked fragile to start with so I washed them in a mesh bag on delicate cycle in cool water. They came out faded and unsewn in multiple places. The zipper pull came off on one of the robes. I don't recommend these.

i did not know i was buying american products.....by ordering from Amazon.ca i was of the understanding i was buying a canadian product from a canadian business....if i would have known beforehand that i was buying a product from america, i wouldn't have bought it...american products are garbage, over priced and i have to pay an international fee....i doubt i'll ever order anything again from Amazon.ca...i feel i was deceived....i thought ".ca" meant canadian....i bought another similar dust robe from Walmart ( a george foreman product ) and it is 100 times better product then from america and half the price....again, i'll never order anything from Amazon.ca ....i feel ripped-off....
