How is everyone securing this to their rv windows? we don’t want to use spray adhesive as suggested by a few reviews. thanks.

We used industrial strength Velcro. Lined the edges and bottom of each window just outside the window frame and cut the insulation to match. The industrial strength Velcro adhesive has continued to hold up even with 100+ degree days. This way we can remove it when we want. And it doesn’t look bad - nice and tidy over the windows.

What is the R Value of the 5mm?

In the description... R-value up to 15.67 ( with one layer), up to 21.10 ( with two layers).

Has anyone used this over crawl space vents to keep it warmer during winter?

It would work well, cut 3/8" larger than both dimensions and press fit. I should caution you, unless you are having a problem with freezing pipes, you should never close the vents in the winter, moisture will collect on the underside of the house above the insulation causing mold. Air movement in the un-conditioned space under your house is critical.
