No. They would not be comfortable enough in my opinion. I wouldn't consider them a hiking boot.

Q: Are these good for daily use at work? I'm on my feet 9+ hours daily as a manager in retail and need something durable and comfortable.

Yes, these boots are very comfortable and durable. However, for some reason, the suede leather version of this boot is much heavier than the regular leather style. As if they added more weight to the sole?? Not sure why they would do it. I wore my Nellie's every day while working in a warehouse and they were better than any other shoe I found.
