Digital LCD Stud Finder with Video Guide and 9 Volt Battery

Over the years, having used all kinds of stud finders and finding techniques (including rapping of knuckles across a span of drywall), I finally had confidence in the results. This sensor would be passed across a location, indicate the presence of a stud, and was thereafter consistent when I moved the sensor over the same location while sweeping in the opposite direction or sweeping in either direction at a point higher or lower. And it replicated my knuckle-rapping explorations most of the time. Where there was a discrepancy, I ALWAYS trusted the sensor more than my own ears.

I wonder how Amazon test their third party seller quality. This brand/product lead me to numerous accident where it did not locate properly the stud, often shows a stud is located but it's actually a wire (luckily- I took extra precaution) which could lead to damage, burn, or any other accident.

Couldn't be easier to use and it's dead on. Made putting up a TV wall mount and floating shelf a breath. Now I don't mind putting stuff up the wall anymore. Hated to do that because knocking at the walls never worked that great for me. Handy tool with a great value.

Easy to use. Seemed to accurately find studs. Only thing I don't like is that it doesn't detect AC at the same time you are locating the studs. You have to change modes to detect each separately. However, for stocking my nephews first toolbox, this will do just fine.

I bought this mainly because it finds actual studs vs just the nails but also finds nails & electric. Also purchased it for the price & reviews.No regrets at all! It works like a charm. Takes a little getting used to but pretty easy. We tested depth & at least with wood it appears to read about 1-1.5 inches deep.All in all, a great purchase.

Delivery was fast, great customer service (email communicating their appreciation), and above all this is a three in one machine. Fantastic because it if flexible enough to find studs as well as electrical wiring behind the wall. Definitely a must have.

Fail after 2 months of use

I was able to use the studboss right out of the package after inserting the battery that was included. This tool is very accurate & easy to use. I've never used a stud finder nor have I ever mounted a tv. This tool made it that much more simple! thank you!!!
