Easy to clean

We originally bought these pans back in 2017 and were very happy with the results. After about a year and a half of near daily use, the metal coating itself began to flake and the nonstick coating was completely gone.The pans never went into the dishwasher and we followed all their care instructions.We ended up submitting a warranty claim and they sent a replacement for our most often used pans that experienced peeling.With very careful attention to the care instructions in hopes that our set would last longer this time, we were even more diligent to follow the care instructions. Despite that, within two years the pans were peeling again and becoming problematic.We just finished filing another warranty claim and have been told that it will not be covered because they believe the pans were used on high heat. First of all, these were our egg cooking pans. We have never cooked eggs on high heat. We have never had any purpose to use high heat on the pans that we filed the claim for. We also know for a fact that we don’t use high heat with those pans. If our pans are showing heat damage as they claim, it is being caused by the heat range Berghoff claims the pans are intended for.Based on our experience, the pans are not of a sufficient quality to last more than two or three years with regular use at the heat settings that are necessary for basic cooking. They advertise a lifetime manufacturer’s warranty on the coating…but unless your demise happens in the two years after purchase, it’s a phony promise. They expect you to pay 50% of the current price to replace them under their wear and tear warranty.We would not recommend investing the money in these pans since they’ll have to be replaced so quickly. You might as well buy the cheaper stuff and replace in good conscience.

Look at the other reviews, the coating comes off after a couple years. I've also had the handle material crack on the 11 inch pan. They refused to honor the warranty. Garbage company, garbage product.

I purchased one pan several years ago and loved it SO much I have since bought two large sets- one for myself & one for my son & his new bride. These are well made, very durable, nothing sticks to them, easy to care for, and durable. But this, you won’t regret it!

At first I was very happy with my pans. As the years went on all pans started to peel. I contacted customer service and it took them months to respond to my claim. They would not cover it because they said it was abuse. I never used soap or metal utensils on the pans. Eruocast is scam they will not honor their lifetime warranty. DO NOT BUY!
