Definitely only intended for ambience and not warmth. Also came opened and without instructions which likely means it was a returned product which I would’ve liked to be made aware of. Despite all this I really like it and it’s nice to have for day hiking trips and watching the sunset.

The media could not be loaded.  Love it! We went to a campground that didn't allow ground level fire pits. This was light weight for the RV and easy to set up an use.

We purchased these to use with our Cub Scout pack. I have used them multiple times. They are really for a portable fire pit emphasis on portable. Care is needed when putting them away. We had 1 L put the mesh away damp and rust resulted.It was usable. But holes developed and I needed to replace the mesh. The other fire pit was cared for. And the mesh did not need to be replaced.

Just what I was looking for.Appears to be well made, collapsible and lightweight. Promptly shipped.I have yet to try it out but am anxious to do so!

Perfect for my small backyard. Glad I can move it or put it away whenever I want!

Product NOT as advertised!!! Looks OK and it’ll probably work fine but they brag about being a family owned American company. Well check out the pic!!! They have their Rootless brand tag covering up a “Made in China” label on the box. I thought to pay extra for a product made in USA. But should have just bought the one from China and saved 10 bucks cause that’s what I got anyhow!!!

This is a sturdy, portable firepit, ideal for car camping when you can't leave a fire scar.

Loving this portable fire pit.Bought it so that we could have campfires and marshmallows for scouting meetings (there is not always a convenient fixed fire pit nearby) and it is fantastic for that. Easy to carry, easy to setup and strong enough to make a decent sized campfire for a group. The stainless mesh gives lots of airflow and makes starting the fire easy even for kids who are just learning.The elevated position means you don't scar/cook the ground underneath (good for leave no trace principles) and makes marshmellows easy too.It cools quickly once you damp the fire and dispose of any ashes and cleans up easily as well. I have no signs of rust after a dozen uses and it works.We had 30+ kids around the fire recently. I would love to see a bigger size for even bigger fires, but this one is more than enough for family's or mid sized groups.P.s. an aluminum hot water heater pan underneath fits well if you really want to protect the ground underneath.Really enjoying this, it let's us have a lot more campfires and eat more smores and marshmellows.
