Just what I needed
I received my package quickly and it was exactly what I expected. Have already been able to use it and it worked great.

Needs modification for the s&w mp performance cntr gen1
It wouldn't go into battery until I grinded a few mils off the back of the laser. But it worked after that. I would say it might fit in your gun without modification it might not aswell.

Great product but make sure the slide is fully closed
I thought this item was defective at first and I even started a return. My sight and the red laser was not lining up in any of my 9mm firearms. Then I read one of the reviews left by a consumer. It said that the laser was not accurate because the slide was not closing all the way and as such the barrel will be pointed slightly upward until fully closed. So I went and got the package and tried again. This time I slowly closed the slide and when I got to the point of resistance I pushed a little harder to close the slide and it closed fully shut. Once that happened, it was spot on. I did it with all of my 9mm. I was also getting my barrel cleaning rod ready to pop the boresight out, and I didn't need. Because the boresight is actually shaped like a 9mm round, it popped out when I pulled back the slide so no need for the barrel cleaning rod in any of my 9mm pistols. I zeroed in a red dot with it and can't wait to test it out at the range this weekend.

So easy a caveman.....
Seems to line up with my sights. I used it to zero my red dot, it was fairly easy to use however I haven't been to the range to confirm accuracy.

Accuracy is terrible.
I am looking for a decent not overly expensive bore sight for my handguns. This one is a .40 round which I tried out in Smith&Wesson MP. The "bullet" seems well made and easily fit into the empty chamber. I line it up and the eye-sight was a good inch to the left from the laser point at 10 feet. I know the sight is not off that much so I took the laser out and reloaded. Now the point eye-sight was 1 inch to the right. Weird. So I reloaded and tried to tighten up the slide on the laser...now the laser was dead on. Hmm, so I dry-fired and now the laser is to the right again by about an inch. At ten feet. There is no way I can trust this device - it is all over the place. How does one know when it's pointing correctly (if it ever does)?Turning off the laser is a huge hassle as well, you have to unscrew the bullet base and remove 3 tiny batteries that need to be stored back in the plastic sleeve they came in.Going to try some other products - this one is a fail for me.

Fragile
Used it about 10 minutes then pushed it out. It fell through the mag well about 4 inches to the table and stopped working. Disappointingly fragile.
