This is a quality product. - I lived and worked in Spain for many years and have a very good knowledge of Serrano hams, and this one is amongst the best I have ever tasted. There is tons of flavour, no bones and little fat content making it a very high quality, value for money choice. I personally season it with black pepper, and eat it with Parmigiano cheese, Perello Picante olives and a good Rioja wine. I will be buying more of this.

A: We ship the hams vacuum-packed in a sturdy plastic film. In this original packaging, the ham will last for at least three months from delivery if stored in a cool, dry place.

A: Since the ham slowly dries out and loses its aroma after it is first cut, you should eat the ham within a week or two for optimal enjoyment.

A: Dry-Cured meat does not need to be refrigerated and we recommend storing in a cool, dry place. However, if you do store some slices in the fridge, allow the meat to reach room temperature before consuming.

My wife is Spanish and knows what a good leg is about. She said the quality of this is great for the price and comes with a carving stand and knife. The carving stand and knife are cheap quality, you might benefit from buying a solid stand and carving knife yourself otherwise it’ll do. Quality of the meat is great, decent amount of fat on it that sometimes you can get way too much fat on these things. You won’t regret buying this but store it somewhere cold until you’re ready to open it up and in between use, leave it somewhere cool and covered loosely in foil to help preserve it.
