290009 LED Task Lamp in White

I needed a light for a crafting event on a Caribbean cruise in February 2025. This light was perfect! It takes AAA batteries that doesn't come with it, no problem. I used the case it was packaged in to keep it from being damaged in my checked luggage. The hardest part was cutting into the surrounding plastic. Once opened, insert the batteries and easy to use. Just lift the light and it comes on. Sleek looking. Now I can have an extra light wherever I need, very versatile and light weight. Take extra batteries just in case. Love it!! No more cords!!

This is the third one I have ordered for my nearly blind mother. It is perfect, and absolutely indispensable, when she goes to a restaurant, unless midday and she sits right in a window. The easy portability and quality of the light are both really wonderful. We have progressed now to using two to light her meal enough that she can see a tiny bit in always too dark restaurants.

It's a great little desk lamp if you're working somewhere that's a bit too dim, but the light it emits isn't as eye-searingly bright as I'd hoped. I know it might be asking a lot of a lamp at this size (round 10 inches) and price, but as much as I love the color temperature that it emits (crisp cool white) it still feels a bit too dull to paint to. I should also not that the neck only goes up and down, does not twist, and has a maximum angle of about 120 degrees, so you have to get right under the light to really work with it. STILL, that all said, I'm happy I bought it, and it's great for reading with or taking on a camping trip. Not sure how well it'd stand up to ambient dampness though so be sure to store it properly if you take it outdoors.

I purchased this Ottlite to use specifically while crafting. I love using it, especially when weeding vinyl projects. It’s also the perfect size to move around your desk or from room to room. It’s very bright and so useful. My first Ottlite (same as this one), was durable and lasted for years. I expect the same from this one. I definitely recommend it to anyone.

This is one of the worse Ott lights I have ever had! It was nice and bright for about 4 hours--then he was very dim!!!

Not a fan. Can not adjust the light output and the batteries don't last long.

This light was great out of the box - just what I needed. But, even with brand new batteries, the light began to fade within a few minutes - and quickly became too dim for use for any purpose. Clearly something was wrong with the lamp. I have purchased MANY lighting products from OTTLITE, and they are always above and beyond expectation. When I provided my first review, the seller offered a full refund, which I appreciate very much. Seller told me I don't have to return the light, but I did return it so they could maybe figure out why the light faded so drastically within a few minutes of use. I will continue to purchase OTTLITE products, because all the others I have purchased are perfect, top quality, and work well. And their customer service is spectacular.

This works great for travel (embroidery meetings, seminars etc) I use a different one for home use. I am replacing the same light that I’ve had for several years. The old one only works now when opened to a certain angle. Must be the inside wiring. I use an AC adapter. Hopefully this one will accept the same. There is a small opening but no where does the description state the possibility. This lamp eats batteries. It only lasts a short time using 3 AAA. I use my lamp at stitching outings and would take at least 6 extra batteries in my stitching bag. We purchased the ac adapter & insert at Radio Shack. Not sure where you would do it now.
