When you don't want to guess the temp
Needed a proper thermometer with a probe I could leave in the water. This is working fine. Temp on thermometer matches thermostat on heater positioned on other side of the tank on opposite wall. So far so good. Price seems fair.

So Far So Good
I just installed this thermometer in my tank and by comparing it to my glass thermometer it seems to be within .5 degrees. The reading came instantaneously when I submerged the probe. There was an issue with my order but I will hold off commenting to see how the manufacturer handles it. Also since I have only had it installed for 2 hours I will return to let you know anything. All in all I am so far very happy with it.NEW REVIEW - I was not able to rectify my issue with the manufacturer but I understand there point of view. Since it was nothing to do with the performance of the thermometer it self I let it go. After a month or so it has performed flawlessly and I am still very happy with it. The feature I like the best is that when you first turn it on it gives you the last temperature for a few seconds before giving the current temp. All in all I would say buy this one it works great!

Does what it says
I am using it in a cold plunge to read the temperature of the water. It does that great. The power button broke after I turned it on for the first time so I haven't been able to turn it off but it hasn't run out of battery either after about a month. The suction cups aren't very strong and pop off easily.

Long Lasting, Accurate Temp Swings
Purchased for monitoring water temperatures in buckets of saltwater containing fish and coral during a cross country move. I had one plug-in thermometer already, but needed a battery operated one for lack of outlets in a car. It always reads 1.2 degrees higher than my plug-in, but reliably showed fluctuations in temperature . There may be a way to re-calibrate it, but recording the accurate temperature swings alone was enough for my purposes. I also can't for sure say there isn't an issue with my plug-in reading, so I admit there may be a possibility that it's more accurate than my existing thermometer. It's still running on the battery it came with after about 2 weeks so far of constant use. The sensor also appears to be working just fine being completely submerged in saltwater. Would recommend for the price for sure; you may just want an accurate temp to compare to initially.

I’m a fan!
I like that I can look and see a precise temp reading at any time. It reads to within .4 degrees of my meat thermometer and matches the stick on thermometer I have in the opposite end of the tank. It’s unobtrusive in the tank, simple to install, easy to read and the suction cup holds the display onto the tank well.

Pretty accurate
Edit 2/23/21: ordered a 2nd one, this one's 1 degree more accurate than the first one. Which means my new one is showing me the exact temp, or the other way around. Either way, both are still technically pretty accurate and I hope it will be that way long terms.edit 2/18/21: The same one is still working well. Checked with a glass thermometer and this, they're exactly the same, so I'm hoping it's accurate. I still haven't changed the battery yet. Make sure you hold the power button for I think about 3 seconds, that's how you turn it off.Works really well, worth the price. The temp reading doesn't get messed up for mine if you switch from F to C and back. Suction cups provided seem pretty cheap, but that doesn't have anything to do with the product, though I wish they provided better ones. The product itself is awesome and useful.

Good, not great
Works fine, accuracy is acceptable, but the display is somewhat difficult to see except in very bright light because the display is small, dark, and not backlit. Also, you have to manually turn it off to save the battery - there is no auto-off or sleep mode. I am not going to use this as my primary temp gauge for my freshwater aquarium, only as a backup.
