Good product and easy to program
Just look for instructions for your vehicle online and follow them closely. I ordered two for a 2007 Toyota Highlander (not hybrid)). Everything works as expected and easy to do (unlock only drivers door and open; insert and remove key twice; close and open door twice; insert and remove key; open and close door twice; insert key; close door; turn key to on then to off and remove; press and hold down lock and unlock at same time for 2 seconds; press unlock for 2 seconds; repeat last 2 steps for each remote; open door to complete the process.Includes a battery, which is nice as not all the others do. Since I just installed them I don't know about durability, but initially they look very similar to the original. Definitely worth the savings in money over the manufacturer's process and fob. Programming takes 2-3 minutes and a young child could do it - it's not hard or a big deal.

Worked perfect on a 2007 FJ Use the programming off the FJ Forum.
Begin With;- Driver's door open and unlocked- Key out of ignition1. Insert and remove the key from the ignition switch 2 times within 5 secondsNOTE: Steps 2 and 3 should be performed within 40 seconds2. Close and open the driver's door TWICE.3. Insert the key into the ignition and remove it.NOTE: Steps 4-6 should be performed within 40 seconds4. Close and open the driver's door TWICE5. Insert the key into the ignition6. Close the door7. Turn the ignition switch from "LOCK" to "ON" and back to "LOCK" at about 1 second intervals to select the desired mode from the list below:- 1 time for ADD mode- 2 times for REWRITE mode- 3 times for CONFIRMATION mode- 5 times for PROHIBITION mode8. Remove the key from the ignition9. To confirm your mode selection, the power locks will now cycle "lock" to "unlock" a number of times corresponding to your key cycles in step 7.NOTE: If CONFIRMATION or PROHIBITION modes have been selected, opening the door will complete the procedure.10. For ADD or REWRITE modes, do the following within 40 seconds of Door Lock confirmation;A - Press both transmitter LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously between 1 and 1.5 seconds and release. (I had to do this a few times because I held the buttons down longer than the 1-1.5 seconds)B - Within 3 seconds of step A, press the transmitter LOCK button from more than 1 second and release.> If the transmitter has been successfully programmed, the power locks will cycle "lock" to "unlock" once at this time.> If there are problems with the transmitter or the procedure up to this point, the locks will cycle twice. If this occurs, verify that you have received the correct transmitter, and then repeat the above procedure.C - If multiple remotes are to be reprogrammed, repeat steps A and B11. Open to driver's door to conclude programming mode12. If you make an error during the programming mode, turn the ignition key to "ON" and back to "LOCK" to erase entered steps.

Don’t waste your money — Can’t do “0” STARS
I own a 2011 Toyota FJ cruiser and bought this in hopes of having a good reliable back up. Unfortunately it’s been a huge waste of time and money.Following instructions for programming are pretty straightforward and effortless. That is the only thing that works. As far as functionality and reliability this is where this Company is a big fail.It only works about 30% of the time, which is very, very frustrating. Also makes no sense if it works some of the time, theoretically it should work all the time. You lock the vehicle with the remote but then it won’t unlock with the remote. You have to use the key and deal with the alarm sounding. Or you walk away from the vehicle expecting the remote to work and arm alarm and lock the doors, but most of the time it simply doesn’t work. So you have to go back and use the key to lock it, whe having no alarm protection.I’ve tried using it close to the vehicle, farther away, up high, down low. I’ve walked around the vehicle pushing the buttons with absolutely no response. I tried starting the car turning the car off and just about every other imaginable scenario. Bottom line there’s no rhyme or reason to when it works or doesn’t, which is so weird that sometimes it will lock the car but won’t unlock it, other times it won’t lock it but it will unlock it, while other times it simply doesn’t work at all.I called customer service and they suggested I replace the battery and reprogramming it. I did both of these things, I’ve re-programmed it seven times, and I’ve replaced the battery. The results are exactly the same it consistently doesn’t work more times than it actually works. When I asked about a replacement they said their warranty is really designed only if it gets damaged in shipping and other than that there was really nothing they can do.I give this product and customer service a BIG FAT “F”There are plenty of reputable companies out there that actually appreciate your business, my recommendation is give your hard-earned money to one of them and not to this company!

Works great
Works exactly as described ... Directions from webpage are vague but they're lots of YouTube videos that shows step by step setup.

real good
The fob was easy to program and so far works just like the factory fob. I have no problem recommending this product.

Useless as it can't be programmed to work
Although it was claimed that is 100% compatible, I could not program this key fob to work with my Toyota Highlander 2003.I followed website instructions step by step, entering into programming mode of my car but in the end result was that it did not take programming.Technical support was useless as they sent me some YouTube links that are not even applicable to my car model.I had to return this product. Would not recommend this key fob for Toyota Highlander 2001-2004 model.
