The Hutzler Popcorn Buckets and Popcorn Bowls are made of BPA free polypropylene plastic. They are not made from melamine. They are strong, sturdy, and dishwasher safe.

How much popcorn does it hold? more than a bag of microwave popcorn?

It would hold much more than a bag of microwave popcorn. I use it with my hot air popper, and I can pop two batches before the bucket is full.

Has this product been improved since 2012? I have been reading reviews about the paint comng off and it makes me hesitant to buy. Expensive too...

The product has been redesigned since 2012 and it is no longer painted. The red and yellow colors are made of red plastic and yellow plastic, all BPA free.

Before doing a full refund can you not just send me the bottom piece that the bucket is missing? How can I contact you?

HEY SUE GEORGE, BEFORE GETTING UPSET AT THE OTHER CUSTOMER ASKING IF THE SELLER CAN JUST SEND THE MISSING PIECE MAYBE YOU SHOULD HAVE TAKEN A DEEP BREATH AND NOT PUT YOUR PERSONAL PHONE NUMBER ON THE INTERNET FOR ALL TO SEE AND USE. That is a great way to get your identity stolen.
