For the new Bodyguard 2.0, this all leather holster is great. Protects your sidearm well, allows for a clean draw, comfortable to wear and the clip is secure enough.

This is beautiful. It is soft and supple and the extra "flap" behind the grip is great as it keeps it from rubbing against skin. It is a perfect fit for the gun it was ordered for. I ordered a second one for another person, but it was not as good and I returned it. The first one, however, is great! I will order another one soon in hopes that it will be as good as the first one.

I dont understand the hype and over engineering done on most modern holsters. I had a kydex and I was constantly adjusting the angle, modifying the spacers, and trying to optimize its fit. All of that was a waste of time. It was bulky, grinding into my skin, and never an easy draw.This holster is simple and does exactly what its supposed to do. Its comfortable in every position. It holds the gun perfectly. It draws smoothly and quickly. Its beautiful and well-made. This is everytbing a holster should be and nothing that it shouldnt. Perfect design. Well done to Muddy River.

This is my experience after 1 month of usage. I find the material to be very soft and extremely comfortable. The quality, styling, and coloration are great. The cant degree is not my preferred angle for my carry position and cannot be adjusted, though it did not take long to get used too. I don’t really notice anymore at this point. At first the holster was very snug holding my Springfield Armory Hellcat but after 4 weeks as the leather relaxed it is a little loose. There is nothing that “locks” your pistol in place. Consider that, the loose fit, your preferred carry position, and the positions you often put your body in. This is my go to holster for its comfort and it does not feel nearly as bulky as most others I have tried. Though there are situations I have to work around because the potential that my firearm could end up falling out of this holster.

I'm trying to transition from a great little Kydex IWB holster for my EDC G43x. I love the fit, function, and profile, but, having lost a considerable amount of weight recently, I have some loose skin around the mid-section that is just getting pinched like crazy. Here we are with the Muddy River Tactical leather holster.After having only received this yesterday, here's my quick-take on it (both good and bad):1) It is considerably more comfortable from a non-pinching standpoint. Primary objective achieved.2) The build quality is definitely more than adequate. The leather quality appears to be good. Time will tell how well this holds up against draw/holster drills around the non-reinforced edges.3) As others have stated, this sits considerably higher above the waistband than the Kydex I had been using. As such, it imprints a little more under a thin T-shirt.4) The holster is cut in such a way that the magazine release button is exposed. Based on my draw style, I'm not worried about accidentally tapping it during my draw, but I could see this being a potential issue for some people.Pending the next several days of usage, I'll update as necessary.

I honestly was prepared to be disappointed in this holster. I have been through too many to count but decided to give this one a chance, couldn’t be any worse than what I’ve dealt with already. I am honestly blown away by both the fit and finish of this holster. First time I wore it for 10 hours and it was comfortable all day. I have no doubt this will hold up for years to come. The quality of the leather and stitching has honestly impressed me and I will be buying more for my other carry pieces.

This is the third IWB holster I've purchased in two months. The first did not fit my sidearm even though the vendor's description said that it would. Then was told by the vendor to "cut" the stitching and it "should" fit...I returned it. The second was a Kydex that fit the sidearm perfect, but was uncomfortable to wear...for me at least. So I returned that one also. Then I bought this one and what a world of difference! My Glock 36 fits in the holster like a glove and the durable soft leather provides maximum comfort while wearing. In addition, the belt clip is strong and holds well when in place and better yet...the holster is made in America. In my opinion...I may have discovered the best IWB holster ever made.

I like the soft leather, and the waistband clip is perfect. Others clip too tight or too loose, not these. I'm not a fan of hard plastic holsters, these are a great alternative.
