Smells amazing
I wasn't sure what exactly to expect with these Santo Sticks but I really like them. They don't burn like typical incense, but they scent the whole house wonderfully and in my opinion, smell much nicer than stick or cone incense. These smell more like resin incense. When I used them the first time, I was confused because it kept burning out after a few minutes. Then I watched some videos and learned how to burn them:1. Hold a piece of Palo Santo wood slightly upside down and light the tip until there is a small flame.2. After 1 minute, blow it out so only smoke is produced.3. Place it embers-down on an angle in a fireproof bowl so that the embers will get enough air to continue to burn and gently blow on the embers when needed. It may need to be re-lit several times, depending on how long you want it to burn.4. Place the bowl in a safe place, away from children, pets and any flammable items. Alternatively, you can “smudge” by carefully carrying the bowl to the different parts of your home or space, ensuring that the Palo 5. Santo smoke reaches every nook and cranny, where it will purify the space and attract positive energy.6. Enjoy the resin-like aroma and cleansing properties !

A bit hard to keep lit, but smells good
This has a very sweet, pleasant smell to it. Only problem with it is that it's very hard to keep lit. But then again, just burning it for a minute or two releases a lot of scent, so it's not too big a deal. Might even be a good thing really. A little goes a long way, so I suppose the fact that it goes out in it's own means it'll last me longer.

Well made
I love the smell of palo santo. It's not like traditional incense from inda or asia, but a south american traditional ceremonial incense. Its a very fresh scent that I really love. The container this comes in is also really nice to keep your sticks in. Good stuff.

I don't get it I think...
So I get that it's natural, which I appreciate. I love the smell of Santal oil. And I know this is incense so it's going to be more smoky than anything, but I couldn't even get mine to stay lit. Am I doing it wrong? I used the gas stovetop so it got a good torch. When it was fully glowing I stuck it in a plant (I wasn't sure what else to do with it.) It just kept burning out on me. And the times when I did get it to burn it smelled primarily like smoke. I'll keep trying but I feel like I am missing something.

Very strong, beautiful fragrance
I almost feel like you don't even need to light this to enjoy it, just stash a stick or two in your travel bag or a drawer at home. I have a small brazier that I use with incense charcoal and this Palo Santo works beautifully with it. It's just that deep fragrance that puts a calming peace in place. It has a beautiful scent and long-lasting burn from the super high resin content of the wood. Releases more fragrance than a sage stick and the smell is more refined. I highly recommend this product.

Very High Quality Palo Santo Sticks
I am what one would consider spiritually conscious and I often use sage and palo santo to cleanse, purify, and bless my home and sacred spaces. I have used quite a few palo santo sticks over my time and I consider this one to be high quality with a really great smell that definitely lets you know this is the real thing and not a overly produced version. I really like that these sticks are made in Peru and are sustainably sourced. Many of the typical palo santo sticks out there are not. I consider this particular palo santo to be some of the finest that I have yet come across and I’ll definitely be ordering more from this supplier. If you like palo santo and are looking for an excellent high quality version then I definitely and highly recommend these sticks.
