Amazing quality
Wow I did not expect to be impressed by this $70 knife but I was completely surprised when I took delivery of it. Upon unboxing it I could tell the quality was top notch. The machining and precision is superb. Blade centering and edge grind was perfect. Flip action was very smooth and the lock is firm. There is no blade/pivot slop or play. The titanium handle and clip is machined very well and the purplish anodizing is very attractive. There are slight tooling swirl marks on the frame but it's very subtle. The stainless Torx fasteners are also very attractive. Blade is super sharp and beefy. This knife is fairly lightweight for its size due to the titanium frame. Overall definitely worth the $70 I paid for it.

good quality, and from a compay that I don't ...
Everything in my knife collection is a combination of grey and black color so I wanted something different. Something sleek looking and from a compay that I don't already own one of their products.I'm highly impressed with this Kubey. IT came very sharp and has a smooth enough action out of the detent that there's no momentum or wrist action needed for it to fully deploy. "An assist with no torsion bar needed"The only problem I have is there is a 1/4 inch "splochmark" on the blade that shows when light hits it at a certain angle. It can only be decribed as what a falling water droplette looks like when it lands on a sheet of paper. No, it doesn't simply rub off. I'd like to give 5 star but quality control might be lacking.

Nice knife
Very nice quality for the money. Blade came razor sharp. Mine is sometimes hard to flip open. Seems to stick 1/5 flips. I've tried some lube, not much help.

After reading the reviews, I felt optimistic about purchasing this knife. It is the first knife that I purchased where I could not open the knife using the flipper mechanism because either the locking system is pushing against the knife or the small ball bearing like item is stopping the knife to open. It is the first knife I have to take apart and fix.On the positive side the blade comes very sharp and the general fit and finish is nice. Not perfect but very nice.

Make sure to get the Kubey version!
First be careful to make sure you buy the real Kubey version as there is a cheaper clone of this knife out there that is nearly identical in appearance but cuts corners on features and finish. The Bad:-Given the impeccable quality of the machining they could have lined the backspacer up slightly better with the handles (its offset by just barely enough to feel) but I'm really splitting hairs here because I can't find anything else to complain about.-After getting your hands on one you'll suddenly be disappointed with your entire collection of crkt's and kershaws. ;)The Good:-Every detail is crisp and clean. Every potentially sharp edge has a fine chamfer along it even the spine of the blade and lanyard hole. No cheapo inconsistent hand finishing. The millwork is such that it wasn't necessary.-The bead blasted finish is very consistent and smooth. Once the oil has been cleaned off the purple anodized titanium shimmers with deep blues in the light.-The action is crisp with a medium strength detent. The pressure required to break past the detent fully deploys the blade every time. It's not possible to half open the knife. It's closed or open.-Lockup is solid with zero blade play. The hidden steel lockbar insert engages the blade early at about 15-20% and includes an integrated over travel stop. Very important on a titanium framelock!-The pocket clip is milled from a chunk of titanium rather than a cheaper bent spring type clip. Reasonably easy to pocket and remove.-The handle, backspacer and clip are definitely titanium but I have no way to verify what grade or that the blade is D2 steel. That said there's nothing about the quality of the knife that would cause you to question the materials.-The primary grind on the blade looks like it was done with the CNC rather than hand ground like any other knife you'll get in this price range. It's exactly symmetrical and perfectly flat. No wavy parts or inconsistencies.-Razor sharp out of the box as it should be but we all know that isn't the case with some knives. Some of the reviews mentioned burrs or sharp edges but there just aren't any on mine. Perhaps they've resolved that issue. Forget the CRKT's and Kershaw's. Even if you aren't crazy about the styling you will be crazy about this knife once you get it in hand.Kubey, if you read this please make sure to list all of the features of the knife like the lockbar insert etc. Given that it has no model name researching for that sort of information is very difficult.

You had one job
Blade came soaked in what smells like WD-40, which stained the handle scales a splotchy gray/purple/blue. Returned. Blade lock up was great, and no play at all. Blade was super sharp. The detent is medium strength and the pocket clip is super strong. Really too bad as this was a very promising from a manufacturer I haven't heard of.

This is really an excellent knife, and a very good value
This is really an excellent knife, and a very good value. After using the knife for awhile I can say that the blade really is D2 and holds an edge very well. I re- anodized the handles blue myself and they are real tc4 titanium too. When I first received the knife I thought it was way too stiff, but it was just me putting pressure on the lock bar. After getting over that little user error the knife has a really smooth action and a good detent. The blade deploys reliably any way you wanna use the flipper. The blade came perfectly centered and sharp too!

Good quality knife
Good quality materials. Action was smooth, detent was a little weak but not a dealbreaker and blade was perfectly centered. My only complaint is the leading edge of the pocket clip is a little sharp. I’d buy again.
