VP Racing Fuel 3522 5 Gallon Square Plastic Utility Gas Can, White (4 Pack)

I purchased this gas can because I like high quality items that last longer than cheap items. Well the jokes on me. I was redoing the fuel system on my 68 camaro ss and drained the gas tank into this gas can so I could drop the tank. I put the full jug on the driver side floor board over night so I could fill the car in the morning. I woke up to an empty gas can. The bottom had cracked along the seam. Ruined my carpet, seat, custom painted console and sound proofing mat. Total damage about $2,000. My buddy ordered the same gas can right after me and the same exact thing happened to him. Except his was in his garage and not show car...

I bought this can back in July and did not use it until hurricane Florence threatened North Carolina. I filled it up in case I would need my generator well the hurricane did not affect out area but my gas can was half empty the next day as it all leaked out to about 2 inches from the bottom where the two halves were seamed together I looked closer and it appears this can was repaired at the seams like they were not properly welded together. So only buy this product if you want gas to leak everywhere!

I filled this jug twice with gas after receiving it. The second time it was filled, it leaked gas out inside my car. Thankfully, I had set it in an aluminum foil pan. I had put in five gallons of gas, and in the ten minute ride home about an inch of gas was in the pan. I would recommend not purchasing this jug.

I was pleasantly surprised when these arrived. They were thicker than I anticipated (having only previously used those standard red gas cans you get from your local automotive stores).I was nervous about filling these up at the gas station as you typically need to manipulate the gas nozzle to keep a consistent flow. However, with these cans, there is ample space at the top to just insert the nozzle as you would if you were filling your car. The can's capacity is actually more than 5 gallons, so I was able to fill the full 5 gallons before the auto-shut-off kicked in on the gas pump.Fueling my boat was very easy and quick but you need to buy the filler hose accessory (sold separately). The "vent" allows you to get a fast flow. I was able to empty the full 5 gallons into my boat in around one and a half minutes. With the filler hose extension, I didn't spill a single drop.Overall, these are very heavy-duty and I would 100% buy again. I have three total and I'm considering buying a few more to reduce the number of trips to the gas station to fully fuel the boat.

I bought this after getting fed up with the red jugs available everywhere. It is a night and day difference. This jug does not leak. There is not button to depress or handle to squeeze. It just works. It empties very quickly and again IT DOES NOT LEAK. The only way this would be better is if it came with the spout. I had to buy that separately and that is unusual but I am so happy that I would do it again. Another great thing is screw top is huge. I now use my red jugs as storage and pour them into this when I need to dispense fuel. The hole in the top is big enough to insert the outlet from the red jug and not spill a drop. I highly recommend this to anyone that need a fuel jug.

This jug started leaking after one month sitting in my garage. Gas was leaking between the plastic weld at the bottom. I ended up with three gallons of gas in the floor overnight.

Overall a nice quality fuel jug. However, it is difficult to see where the fuel is in the jug because it is so opaque and there appear to be lines on the jug that mimic fuel levels. I use it to mix two different octane fuels and need to make sure I get the right levels for each fuel.

read alot of reviews about leaking caps...i filled mine with water and tested in the bath tub to see if it leaked with trying to pour....and it did...however..while it was leaking...what i thought was tight for the cap it was apparently not...i tightened it as much as i could with one and until leaking stopped, and it did....cap needs to be on very very tightly..i would tighten as much as you can with one hand then double check with 2 hands..besides that...tough and durable...says do not use to transport fuel, or fuel storage....but i can personally say...eff that...stores it pretty nicly with no issues for as long as gas stays good for...i recommend the deluxe filler hose..
