Great for telephone and ethernet.
These work great for small thin telephone and ethernet wires that need to be connected or extended.

Great for the price
Most of these work well and they have about a 5% failure rate. However, considering the price, I would buy these again any time.

These things are so cool. Just did a big network and telephone wire attic splicing project and these made it so easy. Just cut the wires straight stick them in and crush the orange button with pliers. No more nasty stripping and electrical tape slipping off. It's a pretty solid connection.I have the red 3 wire ones as well.

Loves these little gems.
Love these things. If you do any work with LED lighting that requires user wiring (like we do), then we can highly recommend these connectors. Convenience, practically ZERO failure rate, solid electrical connections. Five stars all the way.

Bad quality control with the Gel-Filling!
Order arrived in 14 days, exactly 100 count. 2 buttons came apart in transit "was able to snap back together". Over 70% only had Gel-Filled Inside of 1 side. "not good for preventing moisture from causing short circuits" I guess if I pay close attention when using these and put 1st wire in side that has Gel-Filled it might push Gel into other side, "what a pain" oh well, I guess you get what you pay for.

Splicing made easy
Perfect for splicing the small wires on a PC CASE FAN. Takes less than a minute to splice the wires. No soldering necessary. And no chance that I will pick up the wrong end of the soldering iron .. again!

Works great to connect wires
Great for connecting wires together. I used several of these during a basement remodel where I needed to cut existing wiring to run thru joists, and then reattach where re-wiring was not possible. These were exactly what was needed, and their installation was quite simple.

Did Not Fit Unstripped 22 Gauge Wire
Besides these taking forever to arrive since shipped directly from China! I was splicing together safety sensors to a garage door opener. Just needed 1 more of these to finish the job so I spent as little as I could since my future projects likely won’t include using these. The other orange butt splicers that are just like this type I used that came with the new sensors worked beautifully but needed 1 more since I ran completely new wire from the sensors to the opener due to a lightening surge that had comprised the wire run. I even purchased the special crimping pliers for the job so I would know 100% the gel would be released and crimp would have a firm grip. With this splicer type, you insert the 2 separated wire ends as far into the splicer as possible (they are clear so ensuring the location of the wires inside the splicer is easy to determine) without stripping them, then crimp with the pliers which releases the gel and connects the currant of the 2 wires. The other splicers I used that were supplied with the new sensors all worked on the first try. I did this one The exact same way and it would not crimp down tight enough to keep the wires inserted into the splicer (don’t know if it released the gel or not). So, figuring I got a dud out of the 100 in the pack, which could happen, I tried another one....same thing happened. So I tried another, and another, and another, etc. After blowing through 7 of them with none of them keeping the wires firmly inside I gave up and just stripped the wires and used a plain ole vinyl-covered butt splicer which worked the first time. Now, inserting stripped wires inside this splicer may have worked but the beauty of this kind is the wires don’t have to be stripped for them to work and frankly I was irked they did not work like they should have and was worried the wires could seem tightly crimped but later come out with the vibration of the garage door opener being used. So trying them with stripped wires wasn’t worth it. I went back to the item description to see if I missed something. It doesn’t specifically say these fit 22 gauge wire. It states “Product Name: UY Connector; Model: K1. Type: 2 Port, Single Tongue; Applicability: To Connect two Telephone Wires, Data Signal Cables, and Other Conductors. Suitable Wire Conductor Diameter: 0.4mm-0.7mm; Material: Plastic Casing, Gel-Filled Inside”. Everywhere I checked, UY Yellow works with 22 gauge single copper wires and in the Q&A for this item on Amazon there are 3 answers to the question of what gauge wire this works with and 22 gauge was in every answer. So, spend a little more elsewhere to be sure you get ones that work! These from this seller are awful!
