RockShox Maxle Ultimate Front Thru Axle: 15x100 148mm Length Pike/RS-1/Lyrik B1/Yari

Bought to replace the poor quality stock axle that came in the Rockshox sector that came with my 2014 Giant Trance 27.5 (3). This one indeed fits PERFECT and the mechanism is FAR superior to the one that came with the other fork / bike. If you undo your front axle a lot, you will definitely chew up the stock axle, and this is a perfect replacement for that. Built MUCH stronger on the locking mech so it should last as many times as I need to remove and replace.

Perfect for Rockshox Sektor 140mm fork. And it arrived very fast. Easy to use and sturdier than the original one. I wish I didn't have to get to the situation of needing to replace the a faulty original piece. But at least, it's good to know that you can get a better quality replacement.

Was having a hard time finding a QR axle for a newer SID fork. This one fits perfectly.

I bought this Maxle because the original one in my RockShox suspension became a little bit loose. It is really great. Very light and stiff. Easy to lock and unlock. Very easy to find the correct tightening. You can always put the lever in a good position selecting the proper angle. I strongly recommend it.

This is not the replacement for the 2016 Pike!..This is a 148mm length..The New Pike RC's are 158mm..Thanks for NOT letting us know Sram by not updating your website..really poor.Here is the part # needed for 2016 Pike's:#00-4318-005-007

This is a much nicer product than the original MAXLE which came with my RS Sektor RL (2011). The mechanism is different, however. If it was still available, it would be a toss-up with the original which was of lesser build quality, but a much more fool-proof design. BTW my LBS lost the original when they sent the fork to SRAM for re-furb... (Why I like to do my own work.)

Good product and exact replacement for what I needed but I found the description to be misleading. It’s listed at 148mm length but on the axel it clearly states 146.5mm. See the pics.

Avevo già questo perno sull'altra mia bici Gt Sensor e l ho acquistato per la forcella rockshox Sid. Molto meglio di quello che avevo prima perno Rockshox che dava problemi in chiusura da regolare con la brucola,questo invece lo si fa a pressione grazie alla molla tra perno e gancio di chiusura.
