Q: I hear orchid needs lots of indirect light. So is the clear one better than colored opaque ones?

I think even the colored ones are translucent. The colors are no worse for photosynthesis because some light still gets through; if you live in a hot place, the color might even help slow excessive evaporation. The reason most people use translucent/clear is so they can see the color of their roots easily for watering purposes. If your environment is hot/dry and if you are confident in your orchid skills, I wouldn’t let the very small difference in photosynthesis stop you from choosing a fun color.

Q: Will i be able to place these pots in a pretty ceramic pot after repotting?

Yes you will absolutely be able to place this in a ceramic pot afterward. This is the best way to water your orchid. Take out of the ceramic pot, water thoroughly, let drain and pour off any excess water. Or you can leave in the ceramic pot, water thoroughly, let set for 10-15 minutes so media can absorb the water. Then take out of ceramic pot and pour excess water out.

Q: Why 'UV protection' if you want the roots to photosynthesize like they do in nature?

So the pots don't harden over time, and crack

Q: Has anyone found any decorative pots to fit/match the varying sizes?

I have not looked for pots to fit the orchid repotme slotted pots. I placed the slotted pots in a tray with small rocks to hold moisture and my orchids are doing very well with rePotme pots.
